I know there are different threads on this....but can someone tell me about their 1st fill exspereience? Did you eat before? After? Does it hurt?

Okay I read over and over and am wondering if anyone has there port in the middle top of their stomach and not the top? Mine is in the middle and is so visible without wait lose. I wonder how bad it will look after I lose weight?

Pain below my breast bone when I stretch

Okay I was banded 1 week tomorrow. I woke up this morning and have this pain under my right breast bone and has moved to my back a bit. when I am sitting here it does not hurt. When I stretch to the side or like do the taking the shirt off motion it feels really sore like bruised....should I call my doctor about this. I am afraid I did something bad. I also had my hernia repaired while there were in there. -

I got surgery on Thursday and had the hernia repaired as well. And have the same pain under my breast bone. Please tell me what your doc says because I have my GB removed already -
Wow I cannot believe tomorrow is the big day already. I am so scared and so nervous. I think I am prepared but all I can do is to think negative. I want to look forward but am so nervous. Did anyone else go through this?

Hi all, I am getting ready for sugruy on Aug 6 in Toronto, Canada. Can anyone please tell me what I should be bringing to the hospital with me? What I need for afterwards? What vitamins, what kind of food, etc? Thanks so much I am super nervous about everything and it is really starting to sink in now.

Hey there I am starting my pre-op in two weeks. I am similiar to one of the comments above. I need one protien shake, yogurts, cottage cheese, and chicken/fish with salad. Only Low fat vinageratte dressings though.

Hey I am 24 and having lap band surg for Aug 6. I have been on this site for over 2 months now. It seems there are so many issues, people not feeling restriction, sliming or pbing all the time, having port pain etc. Can anyone give some positive feedback that has been banded in the last 4 months before? As well did anyone have pre op diet that was no in liquid form? -

can somone please explain what Pbing is? Does this happend often. I am scheduled for Aug 6 surgery and kind of getting more nervous.
