I had my surgery done by George Merriman II M.D. in Shreveport and you can't ask for a better caring dr. I love all his office help and thecaring person he is. he doese believe in after care. We meet in his office once a month. Sharonn

Hey that is great. We are having one at Shreveport La. too. DR Merriman and Doctor Hospital is the sponsoris here. Sounds like a lot of fun so like Dianerbean I too ask you to join us at one of the many Walk from Obesity a fairs. Go to their web site and look for one close to you. Sharon

Hi All, my name is Sharon and I am a 58yr old grandmother from Texas. I had my surgery May 12, 2006 at Shreveport,La. My surgeon was George Merriman II and I am going for my first fill Next Wednesday. I am hoping that this fill will help me with my eating. :hungry: I want to eat like before the band. I have lost 21 lbs as of now and scared that I am going to start gaining it back if this fill doesn't help me with this hunger. Sharon

Kat, Paula, thanks for the wellcome. I was sure hoping the fill would do immediate wonders for me, but my dr did say everybody was different. He also told me to get the book "Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery" and try some of the recipes in it to help with my hunger. I got it now I have to try some of them. Kat I live in this big town of (ha ha) Joaquin, TX.LOL. Sharon
