My doctor and the dietician said to use the protein shakes as snacks to help get in enough protein. They do not recommend the protein shakes ongoing as they do not give enough substance to sustain appetite.
I had one week liquids, one week full liquids and then mushies, but that includes crackers, soft white fish, etc. I'm on the last part of week two and need something with taste. I'm going to try some tomato soup. Oh, one more thing....I can have 1/2 cup at a time.
If anyone has ideas for good and tasty mushies, please let me know.
