Went to the doctor Friday and am down 92 pounds in 7 months. I am so excited and only about 30 pounds from goal and 8 pounds from 100 pounds..

I put some pics of me before lapband and the day I started pre-op and pics of me now 6 months later and 82 pounds smaller. hope you can tell a difference. I wore a 28 capris prior and I bought these Sat and they are 18 and the top is a XL down from a 3X.

I got my band 12/3/09 and have lost 60 pounds as of today. I lost 25 pounds on the 2 week preop diet and the rest since surgery. I feel so much better and was taking 6 insulin shots a day and 6 pills a day and now I take none.

I was banded on 12/3 and went in for my 2nd visit today and I have 52.1 pounds and 25 1/2 inches in 2 months. I lost 25 on the pre-op and the rest in 6 weeks. My head has been so high in the clouds it hasn't come down yet. I also haven't had any insulin in 4 weeks or my diabetic pill or B/P pill. Guess watching what I am eating and knitting has worked. Just wanted to toot my own horn for a minute, thanks for listening.

How do I go about changing my weight on my tracker. It won't take my pin and I have to redo it every time, but how do I get it to the message board. Thanks

I don't remember my pin and it keeps saying invalid pin if I try to do a new one. Which thing do we copy and paste when we edit our signature

I am 2 weeks post op as of Thursday and went to the doctor yesterday and I have lost 34 pounds. I lost 25 pounds on the 2 week preop diet and the other 9 pounds since surgery. I was so thrilled to loose 34 pounds in 4 weeks. He gave me a 2 cc fill also yesterday and now I am on liquids for 2 days again. My post op diet was different from many I have read here. I was on liquids for 2 days, soft foods for 2 days and then on to a regular diet on the 5th day. I was getting really hungry so I guess I needed the fill. Just wanted to share my weight loss and that I have done well since the surgery. Claudean

yes I have to do liquids for 2 days and then soft for 2 days and then back to my regular diet. This 2 days of liquids is tough.

I was banded 12/3 and I came home yesterday. Not much pain, but I am so sleepy and can't stay awake and I have had no pain meds and I feel so nauseated and can't eat anything, even though I can have soft foods today. I lost 25 pounds on the preop diet.

Congrats on being banded and glad everything went okay for you. 2 more sleeps for me and I will be there with you in bandland.

it is called the Ultimate Chopper- Ultimate Chopper™ - Introduction it can be found here, it grates ice to snow texture. My grandson and I eat these all the time and I get some of my DaVincci sugar free syrups at walmart by the coffee.

I use these sugar free syrups to make icees. i have a shaved ice maker and then I pour these sugar free syrups over them and sometimes add fat free creamer (like french vanilla) to them. they are yummy and all sugar free and fat free except for the creamer. I already have my shaved ice maker out and some syrups bought.

This is my first time posting and don't know how to put the ticker tape and goodies on my post, can someone help me?? I have a date of 12/3 at 7:30 and I am so excited and can't wait. I went for my nutrition meeting Mon. I start my pre op diet of 2 shakes and a smart ones dinner for 1 week on 11/20 and my liquid diet on Thanksgiving day, boy this will be rough.All I have left to do is attend a support meeting this Thursday and then all I will have to do is just wait.

I got a call this morning to say I had been approved. She got everything together yesterday and sent it off to Medicare this morning and within a couple of hours I had been approved.. I am so excited. Now I have to wait till 10/23 to see the surgeon because he is booked till then and 3 weeks for the surgery. Please hurry up Oct and come on, I am so ready for this. Claudean:thumbup:
