  1. Happy 32nd Birthday Bean1980!

  2. hey how ya doing?

me not so well, I am having my monthly friend and its caused me to slip some fries and a coffee past the band ;( I am sooo disapointed with myself, only being banded 16 days and doing that already !!!!

  3. hiiii I am doing okay, finally not sore. I have lost 10 lbs since the surgery but its kinda stopped now. today my dr started me on puree foods which is pretty nasty LOL but I am going to start walking tomorrow, 20 mins a day because I have yet to start excersizing, hope it helps. how are you???

  4. So how are you feeling? I know the first few days were ruff for me!...LOL...Just think your on your way to the new YOU! ( and tons of new shopping =)..)

  5. Hi

finally got my band date, 1.20!!! i cannot wait till Weds, any last min advice?!

  6. I was banded in May and at first I didnt want to tell anyone...I actually didnt even tell my Mother until the day of surgery...lol...but after I realized that what I was doing was something to help MY life and sure I know that there are people who smile to my face and talk behind my back...but to be honest it doesnt bother me...I made a choice...I am happy with it and so is my husband...it will never matter what other people think of you...Remember this is a choice you made to make YOUR life better =)
  7. Thanks Ki-Ki...I just figured it was time someone really let it all show...LOL

    Confused?

I have been over weight most of my life...and I suppose I just felt it was normal for me...when I reached my max at 407 I just began feeling BLAH...I knew I couldnt play with my daughter...I knew going up stairs would wear me out for the day...but it wasnt until I went to the eye doctor and she explained to me that from being so over weight it was now effecting my vision...I was super scared about all of the complications but to be honest to imagine my life with out my daughter...was enough for me...it is a big decision and you should go into it with open eyes and positive...I can tell you for me it was by far the best decision...there are days when I swallow something and it hurts or when Im stressed out and I suffer for it but nothing beats the feeling of not worrying about the complications of carrying all the weight around anymore...LOL...keep reading...ask questions if you have them...its the only way to really know for YOU...Good luck in whatever it is you decide =)
  9. Thank you for the comment! =)...Hows your journey going?

  10. Oi have I been there!!!...Since your son is three I suggest the work out balls...My daughter is 8 but when i got her her own work out ball and put the video in she Loved it...and for him it will just feel like fun time on a ball with you...he wont notice the difference and your going to be able to get some exercise in...I do agree that maybe there are other issues but when your given the opportunity to address those you will...Your husband married you for YOU...he will love and support you regardless of this minor set back...When I met my husband I was probably around 270...after alittle over a year and getting all the way up t0 407 his love never changed...just his concern...Stress affects your band as well...Its a new year...just reset your frame of mind...Make this year yours!...Learn from the mistakes of last...I wish you all the luck in the world!!!
  11. It will be a Fantastic experience that you will never forget!!

  12. Congrats on your decision and I assure you it was by far the best decision I have made...as far as advice...I have found that as much as I read the forum and everyones opinions it all ended up being trial an error...things that worked for others didnt always work for me...and like I said I had yet to see anyone as big as I was...so it bummed me out...silly I know but thats how I looked at it...I wasnt looking for instant satisfaction and there are still days when I look at myself and see no difference...I think the hardest part is going to be changing the Inner me as corny as that sounds...having been big most of my life once you start to loose that wieght your head doesnt catch up as quickly...I would love to keep in touch with your progress!! Its always exciting to see someones smile come back to life!! Best of luck...Kristina

How often do you weigh in?

I weigh myself daily...it makes me more aware of what Im putting in...it drives my husband nuts...lol
  14. I had my second fill last week...and it was a huge change for me from the first fill...All together since surgery I have lost 58 lbs...And sometimes my bites are too big as well...I pay for them...I like to think of them as my reminders...lol
