Hi Ab, I totally forgot about this sight. I am doing okay, I went from 300 lbs down to 260 lbs. I am not thrilled with the slow outcome but my doctor is . He says that slow mehtodical weight loss lasts longer. I lift weights alot so my ideeal weight is 180, but the doc says 200 is fine (not). camping two weeks out eh? You are a brave man lol. I feel like you may still have soreness, but it should be manageable. I would not attempt to sleep on the ground though. I couldn't sleep comfortable in my bed for quite a while after surg.. maybe 3 weeks or so. I am just over 3 months out and I feel really great! I am down 40lbs and down 2 sizes. I just feel so much better. You will be amazed how you feel afterward. when you have your surgery make sure you walk walk walk afterward and take gas X. It makes life much more tollerable. Also don't be too hard on yourself if you feel really tired after surg. I was exhausted for like a month after... totally normal! You will do great,and it will be the best thing you will ever do for yourself! good luck.. feel free to message me with any questions you might have.

How are you doing gamy? how is your plan going? am banding 7/10/09 let me know how you feel. My sister just had hers yesterday 6/22/03. I am from springfield MA. I'll be camping in Otis at Tolland state forest 2 weeks after surgery! Do you think I will be healed by then? give me a shout

Hey it took me over an hour to find you on this site!!! I am reading some of the things about after the surgery and I'm getting really nervous,hearing people say how much pain they are in and how it feels like really bad !! Oh well it cant be as bad as I've been feeling living in this body for so long!!! love ya
