    Bandiversary Goal?

    Hi everyone! Our 'bandiversary' is closing in! Mine will be exactly 8 weeks tomorrow. Do you have a goal in mind? I begrudgingly report that I have slacked off completely and gained 11 lbs! OY! But, I am back on track. I have a couple of solid days under my belt and I already feel better! I had really been snacking up a storm complete with slider foods. A great plan if I want to GAIN weight. Since that is NOT the goal I had in mind when I had surgery, I think I will go back to doing what I am supposed to do!!!!! So anyhoo, now that I have confessed and updated my ticker to reflect the damage.... Here is my new goal for my bandiversary! Current Weight 182.6 Bandiversary Goal 158.9 Final Goal 139 Anyone else???

    I posted this on the July 2009 board but that board doesn't see a lot of action. Thought I would repost it here! I am sure there are lots of bandiversaries coming up! Hi everyone!   4. Does anyone still check this anymore? I admit, when I stopped losing, I stopped checking faithfully. Bad, bad, bad. That is why I posted everyday. That is what always happens to me. Not sure which comes first though... the not posting or the not trying?? Hmmmm.. something to ponder. I have maintained and even dropped a size! I now wear a size 12 jeans for work. I am proud I maintained but I am ready to start losing again. I did NOT have weight loss surgery to stop!!! So....... who is still here??????????????????

    Hello friends... I am STRUGGLING! The snacking is OUT OF CONTROL! It is bad because it isn't from hunger... just habit. And these are NOT The habits I want to start. My head is out of the game. It is all mental for me. I updated my ticker to reflect a gain. It has been there over a week now so I have to own it. I have acknowledged the problem and I am ready to deal with it. Just wanted to check in and keep it real! Head is back in the game... ready to get back to it.

    Hi everyone... been MIA. I have been playing with my Bodybugg. COOL! It allows you to put your goals in and then will calculate your needed calorie deficit to reach that goal. For me to lose 1.5 lbs a week, I need a calorie deficit of 750 calories per day. So far, I have met my calorie deficit every day. But I am having a HORRIBLE time with sweets. I don't know what my problem is. Usually it doesn't bother me to have them in the house but lately I can't handle it. I need to just not buy them until I get it under control. I feel like I have gained although my clothes tell me I haven't. I am going to the gym tomorrow. I think it will be nice and empty in the afternoon. food today: B: half slice meatloaf, 1/4 cup sweet potatoes L: half meatball, 2 chocolate truffles D: half meatball, half slice cheesecake See what I mean about the sweets?!?! ugh!

    Hi Ladies! Ok, I need to be accountable. So I am going to start posting my daily food, Water intake, etc. I hope you guys join in. I would like to see what everyone else is eating. Good, bad or indifferent. I don't think that matters, really. I think the important thing is accountability and sharing. :tt1: So here is mine for today, Wednesday.     Hi everyone... Today's menu B: Protein shake with one scoop unjury chocolate, 1% milk and 1 teaspoon instant coffee. Yum! L: about half cup of chicken salad, couple bites of pears D: nachos Tomorrow is a new beginning for me. I got my body bugg. I know I need to increase my activity. I really want to make my goal by my bandiversary.

    Hi everyone... Ok, I get my first fill and I gained 2 lbs this week! grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! On the up side, I can get into my size 12 jeans. wth???? Maybe my inches are catching up to my pounds?? Who knows. I do know I need to add exercise into the mix FAITHFULLY! And I need to do a much better job of getting my Water in. I did order the body bugg. My weight loss has definately slowed and I want to shorten the reigns so-to-speak and keep this going. I refuse to backslide now. I am not changing my ticker.. will update next week! Hope everyone did better than I did this week!

    Hi everyone... Typed up all my food for yesterday and got kicked offline. Was mad and didn't feel like retyping. Anyway: Today: B- dessert Protein shake in chocolate fudge pudding. It was 'ok' not great, not bad L- two wheat thin flatbread with chicken salad on them D- 1/3 cup pan fried potatoes with half slice bacon crumbled and one scrambled egg Debating ordering a body bugg. costco has a really good price that expires today. Debating. Debating. hmmmmm...

    Hi everyone! Today: B:usual shake L: 2 wheat thin flatbread with chicken salad S: 3 oreos (mindless snacking!!!!) D: not really hungry tonight so had another Protein shake No real appetite today. Not even sure why I ate those oreos. I wasn't hungry but the kids left them on the counter.

    So scared to get rid of fat clothes!

    That has always been my pattern in the past. I hang on to my clothes 'just in case'. Well, this time I promised myself I was moving on and not looking back. I get rid of my clothes as I move out of them. The only thing I do is keep the next size up. For instance, I am in a size 14 and I am still wearing my 16's. When I get to a 12 I will keep my 14's and get rid of the 16's. I have been practicing visualization. I see myself as a normal healthy weight. I have never been able to do that before. I thought about wanting to be thin but could never actually 'see' it, if that makes any sense. Anyway, good luck to you!

    Valentine's Day Wt loss Challenge 2010

    Well, I lost 4.2 lbs this week. (I really lost 6.2 but I had gained 2 lbs before I got my fill) I have 9.2 lbs to go for my goal. Not sure if I will make it but I am going to try!

    Freedom Fighters Weekly Weigh In

    Hi everyone! Haven't posted in a while. Got my first fill so I am ready to rock and roll again! I was up 2 lbs from my ticker weight so I lost 6.2 lbs from my fill. So if you take off the 2 lbs I had gained, it is a net loss of 4.2 lbs! I will take it! Oh and I adjusted my starting weight. When I was there we were talking about how much I had lost so far and she had my pre-op weight as 242 not 240.

    First Fill-STARVING!

    Hi everyone! Finally had my first fill yesterday. I was a little nervous since it has been all this time and I haven't had it yet. It was no big deal. I layed down, she put the needle in and while the needle was in, I sat up and drank. We decided it was enough. Frankly, I didn't want anymore so she thought it was fine. I have 2cc in my band now. She had an intern with her and explained to the intern that for a first fill she will put as much as 4cc in but it depends on the patient. I really only wanted a teeny tiny fill. I figure I lost 62 lbs with no fill so I should only need a little. So now I am on Clear liquids until Sunday. OMGosh! I am STARVING! :biggrin: I am only allowed broth, herbal tea, and sf Jello. UGH! On the up-side, I am down 3 lbs from yesterday's weight! Maybe I will make my Valentine's goal after all.

    Hi Melinda. You are sooo right! It isn't funny how each surgeon has a different protocol? There really isn't a 'right' way to all this. I made it through my three days. My only cheat was a protein shake on Sat afternoon. I was actually feeling light headed. It was fine and I felt so much better. But man, am I glad that 72 hours is over!

    HI everyone... REALLY struggling here! Snacking like crazy. Fill appointment is January 21st. Not a SECOND too soon. Ugh... I have been craving a big mac for weeks now and I think I have eaten all sorts of other junk instead of just having what I really wanted. Sooooo...
