  3. Hey KAT, Hope all is well have not heard from you in awhile. Things are going ok, I hit a major hurdle that I am trying to get over, and get back on track. Been doing good these past few days, and I go in for a check up on the 4th of Nov. Hope all is well and talk to you soon.

  4. Hey Kat, Thanks for the upbeat message ;) I t really does help out. I am still hovering around the 300 pound range, but I am still ahving what I want too. Restriction is really not that great at the moment. I go in on the 30th to get my second fill which I think will be my sweet spot. I do try and go to the gym and work out but it is hard to juggle everything. So I at least try to do some walking. I am refocused and I will definatly keep you updated.

  5. hey there.... don't get too down on yourself, as long as you refocus. i have gained 3 pounds back, and had to put my fill off a week because my father-in-law had a heart attack and i couldn't get to my surgeon. i too have to refocus big time, but i am determined to. we will both get back on track...

     

    don't kick yourself too much for what you eat... worry more about portion size. forgive yourself and move on. keep in touch!!!

  6. Hey Kat,

     

    Just want to do some venting :) I am so pissed at myself right now. Had such a horrible weekend. I ate way to much, kept drinking while I was eating. Went to taco bell this afternoon for lunch, ate a freaking huge burrito, and a soft taco. why do I do this crap to myself. I was doing great. I know its not a big amount of food, but my choices are just not the best. Anyway, going to refocus tonight, LOTS OF WALKING ;)

     

    Cant wait for that next fil

  7. Hello Kat, I totally feel you on the fill part. I am kind of at a plateau too. I just had my first fill, but If I dont eat the right kind of food I dont feel full.

    need advice

    the foaming is more like a PB.. sliming is the saliva type stuff that comes up into your mouth that is produced to ease a "stuck" down through the band. this would usually happen to me when i eat too fast. if you are not getting full on less food, you probably need a fill, but, really start to eat slower or the PB'ing will get worse!

    I am stuck at minus 23 pounds, but have a fill in about 10 days. Restriction makes all the difference. :)

  10. Hey Kat,

     

    Just had my fill yesterday. I can really tell the difference. I can eat about 5-6 bites and then I am done, my real problem is remembering to eat slower. Well I also made my first goal. I am now under 300 pounds :)

     

    299 - I have not been this weight in over 12 years. I am super excited about it, and cant wait to reach my next goal ;)

    Sorry I am just now getting back to you. Yes I had my first fill and it makes a big difference, i feel so much restriction. It took a full week to get used to this. I was sliming, PBing, and getting stuck. But now that I take my meals really slow, especially that first bite, I do well and it really does keep me from eating too much, or eating the wrong things.

     

    Let me know how your first fill goes!! Hang in there, that fill will make a difference!!

  13. Hey Kat, did you get your fill yet? I go in a week from today to get mine. I can not wait. The battle has been tough lately I feel like I am eating to much eaven though its not really a lot. I have gotten the tightness feeling a couple of time, however I have not slime yet ;) I just need to remember to eat SLOWER and chew. I will let you know how I am doing after my fill.

     

    Just curious as to what you are doing as far as exercising. I try to walk most days, but I do get lazy. I have been trying to swim too which is a little more fun that walking.

  14. your band should never be so tight that you cannot drink water down...especially to the point of dehydration. have you ever had problems with your blood sugar??
