Callin out to all July 2009 bandsters. Just wanting to know how much weight you have lost till now and how your journey is going. I have lost about 30 some pounds since beginnning this journey with a lot of frustration along the way. Not until recently have I felt real restriction, and I think I have a way to go also. Just wanting to connect with others who are on the same timeline as myself.

Elfie, Dont worry about it, we all slip up. Are you from Rogers, MN by any chance? I too know a girl who died in a car crash the other day.......so sad. I am so sorry for your losses, and I guess, I like what the other poster said about Accept it, deal with with it and move on.......time to move on to a better day. Hope you have a great Christmas.

Hey everyone, Just wanting to maybe get a thread started to discuss our stories and journey thus far.....I was banded July 31st in Minneapolis. I have been having a hard time lately losing more weight and have 6 cc's.....let me know your story and how you are doing if you were banded in July 2009

Does any one else ever drink while they eat and what does it do? I had one bite of food yesterday that I didnt chew all the way and it got really stuck.....I took a drink of water and it hurt really bad for a second and then I could feel the food slip down......does this mean I am stretching my pouch? Sterski

I was banded on July 31st, 2009 and am at 6cc right now. I have lost a total of 34 pounds and am feeling frustrated......for my last 2 appointments, in 2 months I have only lost a total of 4 pounds. I exercise 3 times a week. I can eat more than the one cup they said I would be able to handle, but try not to. Anyone else banded in July and having problems? :rolleyes2:

Hi there, I was banded on July 31st 2009. I have only lost 4 pounds since surgery. I had my first fill a couple weeks ago and now am at 5cc's. I cant seem to lose any weight. HELP!!! Any other July bandsters having issues? I am not hungry during the day, but just not seeming to lose any weight. I am interested to hear your banding stories too. Also, with my fill, I got SO bruised!!!! It didnt hurt, but man did I have a giant bruise where my port is. Any one else?

I am drinking a protein shake in the morning with milk, then having a cheese stick around 9am, eating lunch at 11am concisting of a smalll amount of food with a protein, fruit and veggie, milk at like 3pm and dinner at like 6pm. I am not hungry during the day, but can eat more than the 1 cup that I was told that I probably could handle. I am at 5cc fill. I dont really have much restriction. I walk about 3 times per week, but know I need to bump up my activity level. Could that be whats stalling me?
