I teach as well and missed the last week of school due to my surgery. I went back on the last day to say goodbye to my students. Quite a few co-workers asked about my surgery and I told them it was a minor female surgery. I think I can get away with it when I go back on 8/14/09. I have only lost 11 lbs. Hopefully over the course of the year I will have a slow loss that no one will suspect that I had WLS. I made a mistake and told the school secretary. I'll see if she keeps it to her self. LOL! Congratulations on your surgery. The weight for me has not dropped off. It depends on your fills. Maybe you can explained your weight loss by telling everyone you are following a strict diet. Tell them you have to weigh and measure your food and this is the first diet plan that you can stick with because you can eat what you like. Good luck!
