    Too much too soon !!

I was feeling so good. My belly was really starting to feel normal again. So yesterday I got on my boyfriend's Harley for a ride. Getting on and off was slow but I felt I did great. So, last night we went to bed and I am still sleeping on my back so that I do not cause any damage. I am 2 weeks post op today. Well, I woke up and now I am suffering for that bike ride. My belly is very sore and almost feels like I could benefit from an abdominal binder. I go for my 2 wk post op appt tomorrow. I am going to continue to take tylenol every 4 hours today. I just think I over did it ~~~~

    Anyone hungry?

I also was banded on 5 - 11 -09. I am not hungry. I really focus on having something every half hour. I drink tea, water with lemon, sugar free pops, jello with ff cool whip and have my 3 small meals. Just eat really slow and take it one step at a time. I was very hungry week 1. Try tea. Also maybe try some chicken broth and drink it slow. These things will work. U will not feel hungry. U will just feel empty. Keep in touch. Good luck !!!

    Advice from ANYONE....Help

I am 2 weeks post op and last night I was leaning forward and went to reach my right arm and felt a pull/pinch around my largest incision line where the port is. I was awake half the night thinking I did something really wrong and made a suture come undone or the port flipped. It hurt last night to get in and out of the bed a few times. I took tylenol this morning and feel a little better. I don't know if I should call my surgeon. It is Sat. and I do not want to get him pissed. It was just a strange feeling and I am really not sure what happened inside. Anyone out there felt the same thing in your past experience and what did u do ?

    Week 2 Post op

I am feeling hungry. I am taking things one day at a time. Can't wait to go for my follow up appt next wed. with my surgeon. I have lost about ten pounds. For the past few days I have stayed the same. I am trying not to think about the scale. I want to do well and I know that I have to change the way I think about food. We now have a different relationship. This site is really helping me. I want to stay active and keep my spirits up.
