  1. Happy 36th Birthday NEWHOUSEII!

  2. WOW! How cool is that! I havent found anyone on here from around the area, much less in the same town! I am on my 3rd fill. I didnt really have any restriction until this last fill. I was doing really good with exercise (Wii EA sports Active) and walking until the first of this month. I went on vacation and came home sick. And have not got back in the grove of things yet.

  3. Hey fellow WV girl, OMG I just looked at your page and found that you live in Elkview, I too live in Elkview!!! I also see Dr Bali and was banded on 5-15-09 and had my first fill 6-18, and I cant really tell much difference, although he did put 4cc in. Just wondering how many fills you have had and what type of exercise you do?

surgery on the 9 of june any advice?

Hey, congrats on the surgery date!!! I am new to this site, and a new bandster, I was banded on 5/15/09. I was extremely nervous b/f surgery, but all went well. The first 3 days were really rough, just try and walk a little every 30 min. and buy some gas -x thin strips (work wonders for all the gas pains!) Dont over do it, but dont be a slug either. It took me a full 7 days b/f I felt like myself again, some say it only took them a few days! The post op diet is not as bad as it sounds. You will want to get a pill crusher from any pharmacy if you take any medications, and the pharmacist can tell you what is ok to crush. Good luck with everything and keep me posted how everything goes!
