I think I found out my surgery date two weeks after meeting with Dr. Shah. And then maybe it was a month or so from that point? Maybe less. I feel like it's all a blur! I was not put on a special diet but I tried really hard to be good. But I did get McDonald's the night before. Honestly, looking back, I wish I ate MORE at McDonalds. The first week post-op is hard. Actually the first two weeks. When you are on liquids. I cried a lot.
