Nervous&Excited

Well first off my name is Danielle and i am 19 yrs old...and i have always been "chubby" or as i like to say...FLUFFY. And the older i got the more i would gain. My family is all fluffy and eating was always a big thing. I ate when i was sad, nervous, angry, happy..but when i turned 15 is when it really started affecting me..i had to be placed on Bi Polar Aniexty and depression meds, which all have the weight gain added on. So here i am a 18yr old who weighed in at around 200. In the next year i gained 75 more pounds, and it was time to do something. My grandmother had a neighbor who had the Lap Band done and she had great success with it. My mom and i went to the next seminar about a month later. We took notes and decided this would be the best thing for me to do. Following the seminar we met with a pych and he told us what we would have to do...6 months of a diet plan monitered by my regular doctor. So i did that and while i did i only lost about 5-7 pounds. My doc finally wrote me a letter saying he thought this would be a really good idea. Then i had to get a letter from a counslor and i also had to start volunteering. So all in all it was about 8-9 months before my suirgery was schduled. I was SUPER excited. So it was set for a ceratin date. I was really nervous but excited at the same time. This was only my second surgery (i had my tonsils take out about a year prior) but i knew everyhting would be fine. So me and my family (mom dad brother and grandmother) went down for the surgery...only to find out AFTER they put in my IV i had a UTI (Uninary Tract Infection) and the surgery was postponed. I was bummed...but my uti cleared up and i was scheduled for Aug 10 2009. So we headed back up to the hospital and FINALLY i got the surgery! I just had my first fill yesterday and am back on liquids till friday night.
