  3. Hi - i am having revision to VSG late December

how was your experience with Dr. Rod - INT etc...

Just trying to do some homework

    Hope all is well

  4. Hi MS LISA

How are you doing? Did you have surgery? Update me

    Hope all is well

  5. Thank you. You'll love the sleeve, and there's been several that I've read about that revised with very close to or at goal that didn't lose a lot more weight, but were able to maintain easily after the sleeve. Best wishes, and keep me posted on your progress ! ! !

  6. You are a terrific resource and enjoy reading your posts

I am due for revision Band to VSG late/December. Either Aceves or Rodriguez will do the surgery. I did well with the band and don't have a lot to lose but am focused on maintaining my lifestyle and not gaining weight back - even losing a bit more. As I get closer and after revision I will post to get helpful suggestions

  7. Please keep us updated - Cost is a consideration looking at Kelly, Rod & Aceves (thoughts) can you share what the fee is for VSG?
  8. I am considering Dr. Rod for VSG - had my band removed Oct 19th - What helped to make your mind up on MD? Let us know how it goes

    Time...Between Procedures?

Dr Rod removed the band after major slippage in emergency case but said stomach had been stressed...so the revision was not done at time of band removal. It was okay in that it allowed me more time to think about next step. Again, just curious what people on the board have heard about appropriate time between procedures? Thanks for reply
  10. New to the board and find the information very helpful. I had my VG lapband removed (after 2 years) on October 19, 2010. Had major slippage with 40% of stomach going through-band. The band had only a small fill may have had something to do with it? No erosion or complications during removal. (Glad it is out - knew it was not the long term answer). I did well with the band losing most all desired weight but feel as though I need to move forward with VSG too not allow any weight gain. I want to get VSG but have been told to wait 6 weeks - 3 months. What have you been told or what is most common in this scenario? In advance thank you for the input. I am also considering Dr. Rod or Dr. Aceves for VSG - they both seem to have a good reputation. Thoughts???

    Any December Sleevers?

How did you select Dr. Kelly - I am considering him. I had my band removed Oct 18th and and want the revision to sleeve. I was successful with the band but am now ready for a better solution (VSG) - any thoughts you could share on Dr. Kelly would be great. I have also considered Dr. Aceves and Dr. Rodriguez Star Medica
