I can so relate to your experience Sherilynn. Sometime after I was banded(don't remember exactly how long)I got sick and went to the Dr. I know I was down 63lbs at the time. The first the jerk did when he looked at my chart was to say "you have to do something about your weight missy!" I was about to let him have it when my husband suggested he look back on the chart....well...we know we are doing good...keep up the good work honey!

Good for you Suzanne. Im so glad everything is okay and you are on the right track with everything, including your attitude towards yourself! Dealing with food problems is never an easy task so we have to be grateful to have the tool we have, try not to compare ourselves with others because we are all unique., and just keep pluggin' away!! Congrats on the weight loss. Keep smilin! Nita -

I have certainly had my band tighten for seemingly no reason. My days vary greatly. Somedays I have to stick to liquids, somedays I can eat reasonably and somedays I have to be careful or I will overdo it. Since my last fill I don't have to many of the latter but still have a great deal of varience with restriction. It is a very fickle thing this band. I would just try to do liquids for a day to rule out irritation and if that doesn't help then you might consider a slight unfill. Good Luck ..keep smilin. Nita -

I had NO restriction until my band was at 7.5. I read somewhere that the band actually will hold way more than 10cc. I will have to try to find that article again for you. Good luck. Nita:clap2: -

Try not to get discouraged guys. I have been in the same boat and know exactly how you feel. I went from January until now with no weight loss. I finally went for another fill and it is making a huge difference. I have 7.5cc in my 10cc band, so I know it can take alot more than 4 or 5cc's to even feel a difference. Here's hoping my #4 fill will be the magic number and hoping that you all find your sweet spot soon too. Nita
