what type of fish are you using? you might want to try a mild fish like sole or white fish. You must be overcooking it. Fillets only take about 15 to 20 mins in a 350 oven. Try using a foil wrap for your fish. Add salt pepper and a tiny bit of olive oil a squeeze of lemon juice and your golden. -
sounds like a hiatal hernia perhaps. Thats the only thing i can think about. Ask your doc ans keep us posted.

I use a neoprene belt it holds my belly in place and my port doesnt get sore like it normally does when im not wearing it. -

Ditto on the not going through bandster hell im 8 weeks out and have had restriction from day one. I'm down 26lbs so far and have had one small fill. -

I have lost a about 90ish lbs from my highest. Most of it will power lol. I spoke to Kenya this morning and scheduled a fill for 2-10-09. I know if i wait till i see Dr.K i wont get a fill until the end of March smart cookie huh.They are soo booked all the time. gotta think ahead.

If you have an HMO you need your pcp to refer you to a bariatric surgeon. Once you have the referral you can see the surgeon and discuss what other preops they have. I had surgery at Cedars sinai with blue cross anthem HMO. and i had a bmi of 40.1 with no comorbidities it can be done -

well think about it you have an empty belly im assuming youre still on liquids citrus can definetly aggravate your tummy. -

Naked smoothies are good they are all natural and have no preservatives. I make my own green smoothies it really takes no time if you do the prep work ahead of time. I juice oranges and grapefruits and keep the juice in mason jars and when its time to blend i just trow all the juices and frozen fruit and greens. Done in about 2 mins. That includes clean up. -
So I played softball yesterday for the first time after surgery 7 weeks ago and wouldnt you know it. I have a sore port. I don't think I over did it. I have been jogging on my treadmill for 2 weeks now. Has anyone else experienced similar. I mean it even feels swollen. So weird.

When i went in for my first fill my doctor noticed that my empty belly was full of gas he mentioned it and i told him that i had been chewing gum on my way in to see him. I was like would you have rather seen a belly full of gas or a hamburger and fries and he laughed. Do what feels right to you hun. -
Hi hun i was banded on 11-16-09 so im 6 weeks in i lost a ton of weight preop lol.. thnx for your complimet i have only lost 23;bs post op. I have pretty good restriction so not overeating..

Went in today I was reluctant to get a fill but my doc beeing such a smooth talker got me to agree on a small fill, he wanted to give me 3 cc's in my 10cc band but i talked him down to 2.4cc's. I had it done via flouroscopy. Drank a tiny sip of the barium everything was going down just fine. He poked me one time and bullseye got it where it needed to go (No digging around thank god)they stood me up had me swallow some more barium took some pictures and voila that was it. I love my doc...
