Shelangel thats a shame about hubby not being there. Mine was and even though I say it myself he was a great help. Show him your wounds and he may give you more sympathy. I know if my hubby wasnt there he would have been the same as yours. Jx -

Thanks TIN I forgot to call for an appointment today but have just called after reading your post but it was the answering machine so hopefully Colleen will call back soon. Im wondering if Wendy got the dates mixed up for Clinic so does that mean her daughter is due when she should have the Leeds clinic or did she have it in her mind it was her Glasgow clinic when daughter is due? Im bloody starving today Ive had yoghurt drink for brekkie, soup no lumps for lunch and surprise surprise soup again for dinner. Wendy had said to me I wasnt to take anything thick even yoghurt unless it was in a drink form and if I had soup it was to have no lumps whatsoever? I heard from Evelyn today she is just going with DrCDB as she cant take time off work to come through to Glasgow. Still starving but at least after tomorrow we can start on mushies:crying: Anyone any ideas for something filling when your on liquids after first fill? Im packing for 5 at the moment as Going to Florida on Sunday and I need something to give me energy. :smile2:So happy it was only the tubing that was wrong with your port Gary I wish you and all the new bandsters a speedy recovery. Thanks bigsis. She really is a lovely lady and she is very caring. She was telling me that WLS have hooked up with CDB and are offering a package that includes 3 years after care I think she said it was around £5250 but dont quote me on that. Jx -

Got my fill 3ml. Didnt think I would get one since Im going to Florida on sunday but wendy says it would be fine as its only my first one Yeahhh! TIN good to see you again pity didnt have time for a wee blether but maybe next time. Wendy says the timing of next clinic in Glasgow 8th September, coincides with her daughter giving birth so she may have to cancel and rechedule. Big sis and Gillian she sings your praises and I told her you both sing hers. Jx ps I couldnt believe how painless it was even though TIN came out clutching his stomach lol. -

Hi everyone and welcome back the new bandsters. Hope you are not in too much pain and if you have a little its all worth it in the end. I am going for my first fill on tuesday and I know it doesnt really make much difference but do you all think Ill be ok as Im flying to Florida on Sunday. I know the flight can make your band seem tighter due to air pressure. But as its my first fill didnt think it would really matter. I really dont want to miss it as i want to start my restriction journey. Jx Any advice very much appreciated. TIN what time is your appointment and yours fatduck? -

Good luck to all peeps being banded and of course the lovely Gary being repaired,. Freckles so sorry to hear about your mum but you would have been worn out and not be able to give her quality time that you now can. Good to see you back odge, hows the weightloss doing. Sparky I also have three different size of clothes and at the moment Im going from biggest size to middle size so on the right track. Anyone going to belgium remember and take big mug as the hotel ones are small plastic ones. Jx -

Hi Guys may I first of all welcome Mandy back thats a whole lot going on in your life, try not to get too stressed babe. Gary Im soo pleased your not out of pocket, do you know what part of the band is leaking and if you have to get whole new band. Im sure your just relieved to be getting it. I was wondering if you have to go through the whole scenario again with waiting for weeks before first fill or because you already have a band placed will it just be a matter of filling it to where you were before. Either way Im sure you will get on with it without complaint because thats the type of guy you are. Good luck Gary. Time is now I am so ready for a fill. Glad you enjoyed the Wedding WEEKEND hope it hasnt done too much damage. What time is your appt? Bev that episode must have been so embarrasing for you but sometimes I think it takes something like that to happen to give us a kick up the back side although its not nice!! I remember my mums 2nd trip on a plane she couldnt get seatbelt fastned and they had to give her extension. She was mortified, and 3 women who were sitting across from her were giggling, she couldnt hold her head up for the 4 hour journey. When the plane landed and the overhead cabins opened the woman who had done the most giggling got hit on the head with a bag containing duty free alcohol and she started to cry,the stewardess knew what had happend earlier and smiled at my mum, guess who wasnt feeling any sympathy??? Anyway to cut a long story short on that holiday mum lost a stone. Could fasten her seatbelt flight home and continued to lose another 3 stone when she got home. Jx Got to go to work now. -
