    How do you know?

    Most times I don't. I am still shocked when people comment on how much wt I lost. The only thing that has somewhat put it in perspective is the smaller clothes. I should be shouting from the rooftops, but I have that nagging voice in the back of my head saying "you'll gain it back" or even worse "you don't really look that good, you were just so darn fat to begin with"
  2. WILLPOWER.....Everything depends on your willpower. Once you start making excuses it never stops. NO BREAD/PASTA/RICE.....I may have a little in Soup (rare), but have never eaten a plate of Pasta, a piece of bread or rice by itself. AVOIDING NEGATIVE PEOPLE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.....They mess with your head and try and bring you down. Success with the band is mental too.

  6. I know I'm going to risk backlash with this answer but here goes. I am 7 mos out and have only rec'd 3 fills so far. At one fill appt, I was vomiting once a day and DR said no fill because of that. My tummy needed time to settle down. I was okay with that. Last time I went, I declined with the DR agreeing of course, that I was tight enough and losing okay and didn't want a fill. Fills don't always kick in immediately. First fill nothing at all(very common), another fill took 2 weeks to kick in and the last was 11 days. I am not in any rush to lose a certain amount. My body was telling me I had enough fill to be successful. There are reasons people don't get fills sometimes. Some Dr's put in small amounts, so you may need to go more frequently. Some put in larger amounts so you can go longer between fills. Everyone is an individual and their bodies react differently. I like having a DR that doesn't treat me like a assembly line and takes a more individualized approach. I prefer going slower than having to be unfilled if too tight. (My preference..but it's okay, cause it's my journey) * I would agree with the previous posters that the NUT is not the one to dictate when and if you should get fills. Don't send a lynch mob to my house......please! lol Good luck!

    Depends on what your in to. I couldn't stomach an unjury shake anymore if someone paid me to drink them. If you like chocolate, I like EAS pre made shakes (they sell them at BJ's) by the case. 4 packs are ridiculouly expensive, though they sell them at Shop Rite and Walmart if you want to try them. If your into orangey. Jay Robb Creamsicle flavor is good (sold at Health food Stores). Not quite the Dreamsicle they sell at TGI Fridays, but....lol My advice is to try a sample. Most health food stores will let you sample drinks before you buy them. Also, don't buy too much ahead of time. I have cans of UNjury sitting in my pantry that I won't drink anymore. Money down the drain. I am on my 4th Protein shake brand..Your tastes change and you get sick of stuff.

    Find something to substitute it with. This is one of your trigger foods and as you can tell with how crappy your feeling now, it is not good for you. The band is a tool only. You need willpower to be successful.
