Hello All! Today was FINALLY my day and I was officially banded as of 13:00 hours this afternoon. My Doctor said a good job and I sent me home around 16:30! I'm a little sore and feel a little bloated but I'm able to move and walk around the house and just walked to the corner on my block and back! My friends and my family have been the BEST, between the prayers, calls and balloons I know and knew I would be alright!! The surgery went QUICK...all I remember is being weheeled into the operating room, placed on the table and the next thing I next I woke in recovery with a nurse and my Mom there!! But I KNOW the band was done because I have the 5 incessions to prove it...lol Now my journet begins... -one- Trimmer

Hello Colleagues, I received my APPROVAL letter yesterday afternoon from my insurance company for the Bariatic Surgery!!!! I'm so excited...that was the FINAL process for me in order to be able to set an actual date with the surgeon!! This has been a very efficient and expedient process this time around. Therefore, I should be banded by the end of this month! YESSSSS, Trimme

Hello Fellow JP Morgan Chaser's!! Well I have initiated the process to have the lap band surgery completed. We went "live" as JP Morgan Chase employee's on July 1, on that day I saw my primary physician got my letter,on the 2nd had my seminar lap band class and then on the 16th had my consult with the surgeon! Per my surgeon he wants to schedule me for the surgery by the end of next month...so all I have left to do to complete the process is meeting with the nutritionist and then my psych eval and in the interim they're getting the approval from the insurance company! I'm sssooo excited but at the same time don't want to get overly excited in the event there is some last minute changes etc...but so far the proces has been smooth sailing and everything has fallen into place. This has been two years in the making...when I started the initial time my previous employer opted out of doing the surgery in the middle of me going thru the process and our insurance no longer covered the surgery. Since that time I gained ALL 70 plus pounds I lost BACK!!! UGH!!! But now that I'm under JP Morgan Chase I'm covered again and looking forward to a trimmer me!! Any recommendations and/or things anyone can recommend to "prep" for leading up to the surgery to help keep everything moving on my end?

Hello! I'm new to this site and Jp Morgan Chase and I'm beginning the process to utlimately have the Lap-Band Surgery completed. I'm located in Jacksonville, Fl and I'm curious to hearing anyone who would offer up their journey, thought's and processes leading up to the surgery. What are some things I should look out for? What are some processes I should already have begun in order to expedite the process? What type of medical history as it relates to my weight should I retreive from my physician? Whatever information you may be able to offer would be most appreciated. Thanks, Trimme
