Bullwinkle: I just had my 3rd fill today.... I have 3.50cc in my band that holds 4cc's......... until today I had 2.75 in my band and I did have decent restriction until 4 days ago.. and then it noticeably loosened up and if I listed all the (food porn) I've been able to eat..... well... lets just say your meals would be ANGELIC.. Seriously though...... we are all different and we can all tolerate different foods... everyone has their own path... and hey if nacho's with rotel chees happens to be on mine then SO BE IT! I've been really bad on my Water over the weekend and I pay for it by being swelled up.... I will let you know how my 3 rd fill goes.... and if in 30 days I'm ready for another............. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now its time to get my water in.... Tomato soup with milk for dinner.... He had a bit of trouble finding the spongey part of the port... he was really digging around.. the entire time, I'm like "Please God Don't let my port flip!" Its sooooo funny........... DF called earlier to tell me that he was ohhh sooo sorry that I would be missing out on a really good italian meal tonight... (a chef at one of the places he worked today told him to bring his family in tonight for dinner on him) It is a ritzy really DELICIOUS place that he had been wanting to take me too................ I was NOT amused.... so after he teased me about having soup and protein shakes he said that he had asked if we could do it later in the week.... and the chef agreed. Yippeeeee

Well I'm back! According to the doc I'm down 13 lbs since the last time I weighed at his office.. They were THRILLED.. however I was actually UP 4 lbs on my scale this morning, but I semi did it on purpose so that I would get a fill............... most of it is water, as my feet are swelled up like a toads butt, and I ate way more than normal last night. I could really tell a difference in my band about 4 days ago... it noticably loosened up and I was able to eat more and my normal meals were not holding me as long......... Wouldn't it be awesome to be down 40-50lbs from today for my wedding????? He did however give me a fill................. .75 cc's so that means I am technically filled to 3.50, but he said most likely a little less since he hasn't pulled it all out to check the level. I'm like holy crap.............. 3.5cc's in a band that hold 4 cc's........ I'm going to be TIGHT! Its liquids tonight and tomorrow.............. GOODY GOODY

Kat: CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even begin to put into words how much your support has meant to me personally.... even though our little group has only been posting together for a matter of months I feel that your mentorship has really pulled us all together. I will wear the "KAT shorts" (the ones you sent me in the mail and didn't fit at all)all day today in honor of your 100 lbs lost..because now the DO fit nicely and I know that like you I will be looking back next summer at them thinking... dang those puppies fall off me without unbuttoning.. and it will be a reminder of how much this band has changed MY life as it has changed yours......... I have let myself spurge this weekend because I definately want my doc to give me a fill.. I've eaten (insert food porn here) and today I am going to gorge on the water because I feel like a bloated pile of crap........ I can tell the my fill has losened because I have been able to eat way more than I have previously........... To all my Violet sistahs...........I couldn't have asked for a better group to get banded with! Terry: I LOL'd at your signature! Time to start on my water consumption.

Kat: YOU ARE JUST a teeny tiny itty bitty away from breaking into the 180'S!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO! I was bad tonight.. I fried flour taco shells and made taco's for the boys.. I fried ONE flat and crispy for me.. and IT WAS SO GOOD! I guess the NSV is here that I ate ONE and not 3-4 like I would of in my pre band days............

TGIF Violets! I have my next fill on Monday and I HOPE he will give me one... To him I will most likely show about a 15-20 lb loss since my last fill.. with about 7 lbs of water weight.. (I was real swollen when I weighed) someone just walked in.. back in a sec

Have a great evening everyone! I'm off to face the mexican restraunt monster tonight! I've been wedding browsing today.. I set us up a couple registry sites, but left them blank...... DF wants to fill them out with me.......... GO FIGURE.....

WOW Jackie WAY to go!!!! Just think you helped every single one of the future bandsters in your docs office! My doc uses both.. he calls them the small band and large band... he says he makes the decision which one to use after he sees our insides. I have the small band, but the other two ladies that were banded the same day both had the larger band.

The GLUTEN in the bread is the real culprit.. take a piece of white bread, wad it up in your hand and pour Water on it..... it gets all goopy, and that goopy gluten acts like a Cork (depending on how tight your band is) small cork or large cork.. and either you wait for it to disolve or it come back up...... it is even the way the food is prepared.... toasted, crispy bread/tortilla's go down NO problem... soft and doughy give me the cork syndrome........ but everyone is different! For instance.. I can not eat refried Beans... GO FIGURE.. This week my problem food is chicken... Oh and Milk goes right through my band.... as does icecream and most CRAP food. it is so true what they say........... the band helps you to eat LESS.. it doesn't make the decision between FISH and ICEcream....... that is all on me.

The word is out now at work.... the NUNS are so HAPPY! :car: Banded ME: 51lbs WOW!!!!!!!!! I've heard that less then 64 oz's of protien will do it. Laura: I am a HORRIBLE RSVP'r so I can't complain if people do the same for me. We are planning for around 75......... could be 15 could be 150.......... trying NOT to sweat it. 1 keg and the rest of the booze is BYOB............. Cake will be for 75. I am WISHING that I could do the service on the deck, but it is MARCH in KS/MO who the heck knows what the weather will be.............. I am going to attempt to make our own invites (incorporating our bikes) and then have them run off at a printers.. and I told DF (see I used it ) that I would only order 1 kind personalized favor........ GOOD MORNING VIOLETS! My boss is back from vacation today... well he's supposed to be! I am finishing my payroll and today is the day I'm hoping to pick up my rings... I really need to get my water in today because I'm still swollen... hoping to get into the 220's next week. My son told the daycare yesterday............he's nearly 4 DS: "Hey Guys Guess What?" Teach: "What?" DS: "Mom, Charz, and Me are getting bornd and then we are getting married!!! Isn't that cool???" Teach: "What? Your mom is getting married?" DS: "NO.. WE ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL are!!!" (the bornd ref is him talking about his upcoming Birthday) It is so funny what little ears pick up and more importantly it swells my heart to know that he is so excited.

She has hair just like your's in you avatar... thick, dark and curly........ what can I say.. I have a HAWT sister!
