( a person that can benefit from it) at first I tried to be all... yes we do... but as she asked more and more questions.. and she already knew that it costs 17K self pay, and other little facts about it... I could tell she was serious enough to spill my beans....... I knew that I would eventually do this, which is why I've marked up our spd with the exact qualifications.... and made a little guide. Jennifur: OK.... this new guy is just asking for heartbreak... hell right now he is in the COURTING stage and he is already standing you up .... this trait tells me he is self centered. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON HIM! If he shows you a good time that is one thing but don't invest more in him than your heart can take because he is just a rebound THANG... take it for what it is.... YOU DESERVE MORE THAN HIS CRAP... same with dbf.... you are picking guys that will continue to treat you badly because down deep that is what you EXPECT and that is what your low self esteem is telling you that you deserve.... and that my dear Violet sistah ... I've been holding my sweet spot for a month! My experience is almost verbatum Kayce..... no more than a half cup of food but if it is meat it is a few bites...... I had 3 bites of moist meat loaf for lunch and maybe 1/4 of a slow cooked pork steak for dinner........... but I can easily eat a full portion of Weight Control oatmeal made with at least a cup of milk every morning..... I can eat ice cream till the cows come home so I TRY to stay away from it.......... I can eat 5-7 chips with salsa and then ruin my taco..... I am so glad that I can not eat pizza because I would....

I just shook my then size 12 ass at them and said.. yeah and I STILL GOT IT! Well I got even BIGGER before getting banded.......and I can NOT WAIT to have a size 12 ass again! I have a little WLS guide with all the exact criteria they need to meet... Today I told the gal to start her own research and then she'd be ready to go January 1, 2007...........

OK... so many of you reading this post know that I am a big mouth online, but at work NO ONE except ONE person knows about my surgery.. I'm now down 54 lbs and I am looking very good in my old clothes... enough to where people are really noticing my weight loss...... I know it also shows in my smile and attitude.... I LOVE MY BAND. So I also am the HR Benefits rep, and also the "approachable" one in my office.................. I just got off the phone with one of our employees that wanted to know if our insurance covered the lapband............... hhhmmmmm personal dilema.......... Do I break my silence to HELP this person and tell her how stinking EASY it is for us to get it covered?? .......... Do I EXPLAIN the band???? Do I tell her my secret so that they know that I KNOW from experience what I'm talking about???? and for the greater good of all the obese people I work with??????? HELL YES! I spilled my beans... and I'm sure right about now it is spreading like wildfire that Tracy has the lap band.............. Lord save me from the pound police.......... (Tracy how many lbs have you lost now, and now, and now...... and now) and lord help THEM if they tell me I took the easy way out..........

I just put a post out on the main board........ I've been OUTED at WORK! I'm sure the entire nursing floor is gobbling up the news that I'm banded.

OK..... here's today.... I am at my sweet spot. early am: coffee w/sf creamer 8:30 am: Weight control oatmeal w/milk 12:00p: 5 bites of moist meatloaf w/ketchup sn: MAYBE, I am still stuffed.... but I brought in some Sweet Freedom Yogurt D: around 5:p: slow cooked pork steak in ragu roasted garlic alfredo sauce with extra garlic and onions...... (cooking at home right now) the pork will be so tender it will melt in my mouth... I really hope that I can eat it.... I've been really trying to focus on Protein and Water... because my hair and fingernails are showing that I've been slacking.

I veiw it like this.............. IF down the road my band needs revision or replacement, I will say... "HEY DOC, hook me up with the NEW and IMPROVED version!" Bands and tecniques to INSTALL the band are being improved upon all the time... just like my violet sistah.. Laura23 above... she had an issue come up and now because of HER port/tubing issue... her doc has now changed the placement of the ports for ALL OF HIS PATIENTS...... I LOVE MY BAND!

HAPPY BANDVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 60 lbs is GREAT! better than 1 pound per week.. Where are the pics????

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Laura!!!!! Man oh man… I went home at lunch to stir my veggie beef soup (that has been simmering in the crock pot since this morning) and the house smelled SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! With the cool weather (60 degrees right now), I just wanted to put on my sweat pants and curl up on the couch with a hot bowl of soup!

GOOD MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to the store last night and bought all the ingredients for both the Chicken Tortilla and the Veggie Beef soups...... I had a big beef roast thawing out yesterday so this morning I put it in the crock pot with all the veggies.... and set it on low... today it is dark and storming a high of 69... so it should be a perfect evening for soup! I have to get out all the employee Open Enrolment Packets today so I wore black jeans....... (my black levis size 16 that actually have some room in them!) Glad Judy and Haydee's fills went well! Terry: I LOVE The pic! I have the pain in the ass crease between my brows that I get teased about by dh.... (my dad has it too... and after watching all these ps shows I'm wondering if I could get some kind of injection to make it go away without looking like a clingon Jennifur: I'm going to kick some guys ass for you!
