Not a January bandster but I WANTED TO BE! LOL Tonya: I've had 4 fills and am close to 4cc's in my 4cc band... it wasnt' until the last fill that I had REAL restriction! Good luck with your next appt.

The person I spilled the beans to at work just spent the last half hour in my office....... she has told no one....... AMAZING Also... she is only at 31 BMI and our insurance will not cover under 35......... so she may be looking into self pay, I told her about the closest options for us...... Denver/TopekaKS and also Mexico.......... She has done some research on it and actually called around to find out prices.... She did ask me how much I weighed but I just told her that I'm down 57lbs and several sizes........ she's young....... but she has family history out the wazzzzzzzooooooo for heart trouble and obesity.

I would say if you are sipping your liquids and chewing your food til its mush before swallowing.. then yes an unfil could be the answer to this.. however I would try a SLIGHT unfil GOOD LUCK!

Happy&Healthy: ANOTHER BAND TWIN FOR ME! wheeeeeee :car: I think you are doing great! I lost 19 lbs on my pre op diet which was self imposted LowCarb Liquid..... I have "small" band and am close to capacity... (I have 4cc's) with 1-2 cc's room in overfill.......... I have been very restricted since August 27th, and only last night did I notice a big difference in the amount I am physically able to eat. I am no angel.. as I love junk........... but I do TRY to adhere to a few rules. 1. I focus on protein and water.... (I do not count calories because I suck at it) 2. I TRY to not eat anything after 7p.m. (In my head this gives me extra time to work off my dinner) 3. I watch my carbs and eat things that are low in sugar.... 4. I TRY to not have much diet soda...... 5. I TRY to stay away from the icecream. 6. I TRY to make it to the gym at least 3 times a week..... (I made it two times last week) Heck.. I don't know.... all I do know is that I'm bouncing from 215-218 and it is driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!

My doc refers to the bands he uses as Small and Large... I have the small and my band is 10cm long and holds 4cc's of fluid (however can be overfilled to 5-6cc's) The large band gets fills every two weeks and can hold a lot more fluid. He makes the decision once he's IN and see's the patients stomach.

Oh and Linda: I'm nearing 60lbs lost but I've had 4 fills... my SMALL band has right under 4cc's in it and my doc says he doesn't have anyone with a small band that has over 5cc's! I've been holding my sweet spot since 8/27 and right now I don't even need a tweek of a fill........ my next appointment is 10/22 so I'll evaluate my fill needs at that time

TracyK: I have done that EXACT SAME THING with a mini donut! We had my sis and 3 of their daughters over with our 4 boys so I went and picked up a couple pizza's, with breadsticks and sauce. then I went to sonic for DH and out of all the crap I bought there wasn't ONE thing I could eat.............. and THANK GOD I COULDN'T. So I had HALF a protien shot and an OHYeah wafer. I did try the Kashi oatmeal and it is NASTY... I'm sticking with the Quaker Weight control. The scale was back down this morning and I actually saw 215.2 lbs... DS is down for a nap right now and the other boys are strangley quiet................ Have a great Sunday!

I just got a reminder call from Dr. Malley's office and it wasn't DARLENE. Where is she? I've heard she took a promotion, but I don't know anything else.... WHERE OH WHERE DID SHE GO?

I ALWAYS ask him "How much was that?" So when I said.......... dang I'm up to 4cc's now, he said maybe a little less....... he is so laid back... but I just continue to fire away the questions. I am STILL HOLDING my restriction although it may of loosened up a hair.......... but not enough to warrant another fill. My next appointment is set for 10/22 so we shall see at closer to the time. Citygirl: He does not use numbing agents.. I just lay on the table he finds my port and pops the sucker in......... takes less than a minute. I LOVE MY BAND!

The boys and I carved pumpkins tonight they are all now out on the front porch glowing their little hearts out! The corn nuggets from yesterday's lunch showed up on the scale because I bounced 2 lbs! grrrrrrrrrrr had the best intentions to push water today but it didn't happen. Have a great night!

I've been online for two hours to try and get Garth tickets... He is now up to 9 shows!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was able to get tickets!!! The are endstage, but I had to take what I could get!

I KNOW NOT A GOOD CHOICE! but the nachos were NOT going down ..... anyway....... I am in my Levis, and my new BRA anyway.... I got looked at today by a guy.... YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRACY IS BACK! Shakeit Shakeit Shakeit I busted him and he turned red.............. LOL! That was a good one for the ol ego
