I have the small band that technically holds 4cc's but can be overfilled to nearly 6 cc's... It took 4 fills and nearly 4cc's to get me to my sweet spot where I was only eating 1/2 cup of food.. and the weight really dropped.... I had been losing from being in diet mode.. but when I hit my sweet spot... it was like.. HOLY CRAP I'M FULL! (I eat way to fast and don't chew enough) I'm trying to learn... but after fill number 3.. the nurse was telling me that I was getting ready to be clamped down.. and she was right!

Banded 6 months with four fills.......... fill number 5 in 3 weeks. I've been holding my sweet spot since August. (I have the small band)

I love this thread thanks to whomever bumped it! I've had 4 fills and had been holding my sweet spot since AUGUST............. HOWEVER I am noticing that I am eating more now.... so looks like fill number 5 is in my future.

Hello vi's! Its 10p saturday night and I'm just now checking in...... after my morning check in yesterday my mom called me in tears because her foot was so bad she couldn't go to work (long story with feet problems) short story is that I ended up leaving work and running her from one doctor to another and by the time it was all said and done it was too late to go back to work.... Then it was pick up the boys.. today was a day of blissfull be at home ness......... but we ended up staining/waterproofing the deck and then cooking out on the grill.......... I am also not happy because I was up 213 this morning although my finger were really swollen from water retention... but I've been eating like crap and more of everything too... guess a Novemember fill in in my future. I know I need to get my head back in the carb watching game.. but I had almost an ENTIRE carton of Milk Nog today..... (oh teasing myself that it has 5g protein per serving) but I haven't even looked at the calories because the carb count is 37! For dinner I ate an entire burger (no bread) and some dorito's with ranch dip...... I've been eating halloween candy too...... I don't know what the hell is wrong with me... usually I don't start sabotaging myself until I GET UNDER 200lbs! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sorry for the rant, but I'm just pissed at myself right now. I need a new fridge! so Pam I am freaking IN LUST with your new one! Jennifur: I don't know what to say..... yeah most guys want one thing..... but then you meet one who isn't even that interested and you start wondering what the hell is wrong that they don't... (remember I went many many many months almost a year with out any) and this man loves me.... it has all changed since getting engaged and now married...(go figure) but he has a real hang up with any chance of getting pregnant so we still don't have REAL sex very often........ sorry TMI, but its that kind of night... god I hope someone doesn't google me and reads this......... oh what the hell! I am up a pound grrrrrrrrrrr.......... two weeks with no loss... doesn't look like I'm going to make my Turkey day goal. Nothing much going on.... Have a great day.

If you've been at all like me... I've lost weight SO MANY times that they think its normal.........UP and DOWN... Ive gotten the.. Hey Trace I see your losing weight again! Or Man Tracy when you set your mind to it weight PEEEEEELS off you! LOL.............. ( I then say... well it's been since APRIL 1st that I've been trying... so .5 to 3 lbs a week seems like a lot all at once.)

CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!!!!!!!! I am stuffed stuffed stuffed............ went out for mexican and I had chicken tortilla soup and refried beans with a few chips... I can definately tell my fill is looser than it was.. but maybe its at a NORMAL spot now..... I have been fighting TOM and hoping to see something UNDER 210 tomorrow! Although I've been attacking the halloween candy... (not good)

I am going to try and make the November meeting... last month I was all set to go, I thought it started at noon... so I missed it.. (I was REALLY PISSED at myself) so this month I'm going to try again. I live in Leavenworth.... so Olathe afterwork is not really an option.

Judy: Trunk or Treat is a SAFE Halloween Activity put on by a church.... People in the congregation decorate their vehichle trunks and pass out candy. Some of the Trunks are very creative. The church also had a moonbounce and hot coco along with all the candy.....

I just got back from a consult with an orthodontist.... I had braces as a kid and my teeth have shifted a bit...... or so I thought...... They told me I needed FULL BRACES to correct all the problems!!!!! $4750.00 NOOOOOOO Thank you! I'd rather have PS Plus with 4 boys, and ONE that needs braces for sure.. Yes your periods are resetting themselves and that is the first sign that your PCOS is getting under control and even better a GREAT sign that you will begin to ovulate on a regular basis! (I was diagnosed with PCOS at the tender age of 22) I was infertile the entire length of my first marriage (18-32) Never even took birthcontrol during that time..... eating Low Carb is what straightened me up and gave me my son (well that and the pscyco rebound guy with super sperm) Seriously though... it is why I call my son my Miracle Atkins Baby..... every time I jumped off the Low Carb bandwagon my periods would slowly get out of whack....... I don't think you will be losing THAT quickly... but only your genetics will tell you if your skin will snap back. Personally I have lost and gained so many times that there is no hope... I can tell that my tummy is deflating and that ps is most likely in my future........ Drinking lots of Water, exercise, age and genetics.......... GOOD LUCK!

I'm torn on what to say to you, because afterall its YOUR journey to take. I will tell you this. With the band and proper restriction you will be full faster... so maybe a small candy bar would satisfy your sweet tooth rather than a whole bowl of halloween treats. One of my dear RL friends who had the RNY.... (she has gained back about 70% of the 120lbs she lost) She told me that she still ate things that made her feel like crap, but that sometimes it was worth it...... she didn't keep up with her bariatric Vitamins, she gained, she went into a depression, she has tried to commit suicide, she has been hospitalized twice,and now she is not returning calls.... She had talked about getting banded over her stretched out pouch but now she says she is done with losing weight....... I'm not saying this to scare you, but I wanted you to know the other side of what has happened to effect me and my decision to get banded.... and also.. her journey is different than yours... but I truly think the long term effects of the malabsorbtion factor have really yet to be determined. I love this woman as a sister and I have watched her change into a shell.

UH.......... yes.. if you can eat 8 of anything you need to RUN to your doc and deman a fill!

GREAT! I've had 4 fills in my 4cc band and I'm pretty dang restricted...... my doc says no one he see's has more than 5 cc's in their small band.... (so I have about 1 cc left before I'm at capacity) However I don't really see me needing more anytime soon.GOOD LUCK!
