Well............ my secret was LUCK! Today I bounced back up all the way to 210! but since I saw the 205 I'm leaving it. Food yesterday was............. lunch hamburger helper, and dinner was biscuits and gravy and for desert was two bite site pumpkin tarts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so that explains the jump..... very little protein and a lot of salt! The sad thing is that I had no problem eating those things albeit I didn't eat pre band portions but still two weeks ago ONE bite of either of those things would of gotten stuck...... going to try and do better today although I promised the boys I would make my enchilada's for lunch................ TGIF!!!!!!!!! I am so stinking full...... I need a fill in the worst way....... I had two bowls (albeit) small bowls, but two bowls of chili for lunch........ and my stomach GROWLED today for the first time in a LONNNNNNNNNNNNNG time. kat: thinking of you sweety! Cody's first day Recap: In Cody’s words………… AWESOME! The morning started with Cody and Charles getting into school and Charles meeting with the vice principal and Cody getting a tour by a kid named James. He ate breakfast and was surprised to have 9 hours in a day. The band director was so impressed with him, and Cody was glowing because he is supposed to show the Band teacher the “Cadens” (which I guess is the beat he ALWAYS plays) and is different at every school. I had him call both his dad and then his mom and he told them both his day was AWESOME, and when asked if he met any new friends he said……….. “Yeah, pretty much the ENTIRE 7th Grade!” He was excited and happy, he asked if we could pick up Robby early, and then he went straight into his room to finish up his homework. He told me that he wanted to have his homework done by 6:00 p.m. (I was like…… well OK then) So I made a 4 course dinner and everyone was eating it up……. We then met hiw mom and stepdad to get his Boy Scout stuff…….. she had asked Cody if he needed anything and he said……. YEAH… some of my clothes! (I had to hide my smile) She DID turn loose of 5 brand new shirts with tags, and his long underwear and wool socks that he needs for scouts this weekend. OK………… so the annoying part………. She offered to pay for the bus til the end of the school year. $40.00 a month. Why is this annoying you ask???? Its her way to NOT give up her child support. (Sorry but $40.00 vs $325, not a fair trade) Charles doesn’t want to start a war by taking it to court., but I told him if we don’t she is holding us hostage….. for breakfast&lunch money, scouts, food, and everything else…. And the threat of just demanding he come back to her house. Its also her passive aggressive way to say that Cody is not permanent here.. that she expects him to move back to her house when school is over for the summer. This morning, I told Cody to ask around and see if the bus was a good thing or bad thing and he said.. he didn’t want to ride the bus because the High Schooler’s end up picking on the younger kids…. (I had heard that the BUS is pretty rough) We are a little over 2.5 miles from school, and IS doable with a bike in nice weather, but he doesn't know our town yet. I told Cody last night that I loved him and that I was so glad he came to live with us and for him not to forget it…… even when we are arguing. This morning I dropped him off at school.. I let him sit in the Truck with me til 7:30 a.m. I think once he makes some solid friends it won’t be such a big deal to just drop him off with all the other kids shooting the breeze waiting for the breakfast bell. He leaves today at 5:30 p.m. with the new scout troop for a campout.

off to a seminar and no time to read........ scale 209, Cody talked to the new scout leader and he is going on a campout with them TOMORROW! He starts school today too..... (was a good night) have a grea day Vi's

I'm going today to buy him some new shirts. He has been out of school for two weeks now and he doesn't want to go to school.. I told him he needed to suck it up because he is going to college and not going to school is NOT AN OPTION. (I think it will be fine once he gets going) DH is a simmering pot, very cranky and trying not to take his annoyance out on me. This morning when I left I told Cody he needed to shower and brush his teeth today because he was getting rank.... Good evening Vi's!!!!!!!!!!! I did not cut the crap today! I don't know what has gotten into me....... I am craving crap.. and I am able to eat it.. I guess I WILL be getting a tweaker fill in a couple weeks.. no way should I be able to go back for seconds on anything. Kat, Judy, Haydee: WELCOME BACK!!!!! Terry: You talk about being at the end of your rope.. well here is a HUG for you! I can not offer words of wisdom only hugs! I SUCK at exercise and right now I SUCK at eating! VENT AHEAD... (DSS mom is showing major passive aggressive signs) She blatantly bragged to me that Cody has so many new clothes that she has to keep them in Dustins closet.. most with tags.... ok... so we look in Cody's locker that he brought and there were NO JEANS (not ONE fricken pair) Underwear that WE bought him for his summer vacation, and jammie pants that had huge holes in the crotch, ass and knees......... NOTHING he can wear to school. His last visit I made him take several of his "good" shirts home so that she wouldn't be mad..... grrrrrr.. She called and said that Cody seemed "depressed". DH is about to blow a gasket but not within DSS ear shot........ LET THE STRESS BEGIN! (I bought him 3 pairs of jeans, new socks, and stuff for gym class) and we havent even broached the subject of reduced child support to help pay for Cody's school needs..... VENT FINISHED... I know she is sad, but she wants this to fail so that she can feel better about herself........ OK really finished.. thanks for listening.

Afternoon delight! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cranking away on the payroll.... and talking to Cody's school, and filling out the paperwork.......... and oh yeah... telling him "NO CODE, YOU MAY NOT GET ON THE INTERNET!!!!!!!!" Haydee: to answer your question...... Cody is the oldest of 3.. he has a love, hate, punch relationship with the 10 year old and the 7 year old........ which is part of the reason, we are hoping to harmonize BOTH households........ Robby(my son) is so stinking excited to have cody live with us... he is telling everyone that he see's "Cody is going to live with us FOREVER!" it is so cute............... honeymoon time for sure... once he starts having to share us/me with Cody he won't be so excited.... but actually the HUGE difference in age actually helps separate unlike the other two that get under his skin.. (especially because Dustin, the 10 year old) already overshadows Cody in the social department...... Dustin is a natural likeable and quietly poplular kid.... he knows everyone and gets involved in everything that is hands on...... he has a slight learning disability so he is in the classes that allow him to build and learn, where Cody could care less and is book smart...... Dustin and Josh know everyone on our block and Cody isn't even aware that there ARE neighbors....... OK.... enough of the stuff........... I'm wearing the new size 12 cords today.......... but I've eaten an entire package of crackers...... (stress I'm sure) HUGS TO ALL MY STRUGGLING Vi's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and a big thanks for all the well wishes and kind thoughts!

It is true.......... there is always the possibility of needing a revision or replacement, or to go back in and fix a port flip or a tube leak............ but the band has been around for 13 years (in other countries).......... only time will tell if you, me or the next guy will need a replacement....... my personal view on this is that if 5-7 years down the line I need a replacement.. I say BRING ON THE NEW AND IMPROVED VERSION! Good luck with what ever you decide

LOL!!!!!!!!!!! Lunchmeat is a big no no for me.... I don't really know why... I had chili tonight with no problems! Slowing down and chewing fully is still an issue for me at nearly 7 months out! I guess I'm just hard headed :eek: GOOD LUCK!

Every room in our house has a tv! (except the bathroom!) Even in the kitchen I can turn on music......... he would be happy if it only got the cartoon channel........ One time during one of our moments........ I ripped the tv out of his room and the laptop while he threw a fit like a 2 year old.. and he lost it for a month (two visits).......... yeah..... this is going to be interesting... I love him, but it is going to be tough at times........ DH is currently up there waiting for him to resign in boy scouts.... Exwife is already being wishy washy and dh is getting his feather ruffled.. before he left I had to tell him that he needed to suck it up and remember that this was about Cody and not about the petty bs that often comes up between ex's.............. I told Charles LOOK......... Cody is going to use the ammo about going back to his moms the first time he gets pissed off at us, and he needs to know that HE IS STUCK........ as if he came out of my womb and he didn't have a choice...... HE IS HERE.. he already has one wishy washy parent he doesn't need two! He needs firm consistancy and knowing that no matter what line he pushes that consequences are here to deal with as if there wasn't anywhere else to go........ LORD HELP ME!

I forgot to mention .......... I bought a new pair of size 12 "stretch" cords today in chocholate brown.... off the rack at JCPenneys.......... THEY FIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First time on the net all day! I have been nesting like a 9 month pregnant girl........... Working on Cody's room...... it looks so nice... I dropped his old TV yesterday and it busted the tube so I was out looking for the best deal this morning.... He now has a new tv, new study bunk loft, new office chair... His room is so small and it really doubled the size by putting the full size bed up high. Exwife is dragging her feet...... she talked everyone into TONIGHT instead of yesterday, and now she is saying that it is only going to be til the summer......... UH NO, this is it, this is the way its going to be. period. If Cody gets wind of this wishy washyness of his mom THAT IS GOING TO BE HIS AMMO the first time he gets mad........ so far she swears she hasn't said this to him, and dh is going to pick him up tonight just the two of them so they will be talking for the entire hour. DH is taking off work to enrol him here Wednesday.. and so then it will begin.......... Cody is smart, and he and I have had our issues from the very beginning, but I am consistant, and I don't bluff... and he knows it.... it pisses him off when I bust him out on a lie, or whatever....... and he goes into WHATEVER MODE......... he is not a small boy......... he is maybe an inch shorter than me and he weighs at least 150 lbs......... he is also allowed to tell his mother that he hates her, and the word HATE is not allowed in my house and never has been...... the first weekend I met the boys I laid down that law...... This is not going to be a picnic.. the honeymoon will be short lived... but hopefully Cody takes this opportunity and blossoms into the person I know that he can be.......... and I hope that his mom see's how much her household blossoms with Cody not pounding on his brothers all the time.......... He is so stuck in that age wants to be older, but to immature to handle all the emotions coursing through his body.,,,,,,,,,,,,, OK>. gotta go make chili! Have a wonderful evening!

OK... so we spent 3 HOURS sitting accross from the exwife and new hubby............. and then ended up giving exwife a ride back to the house so that we could have a family discussion with Cody (oldest dss) and middle dss............. ARE WE PROGRESSIVE OR WHAT???????????????? LOL stepdad is a truck driver and had to drop a load of fuel....... (LONG POST feel free to skip) Outcome: Cody wants to come live with us. There were tears from exwife and Cody, but he held firm...... (I had made a book of the two scout troops he could join locally and full print out of the school website) She is worried about the school size.. but the fact is...... Cody has NO friends, not in school, not in scouts, not in the neighborhood......... he sits with the zoned out glue sniffer at lunch. He is not going back to the school... so he is moving here TOMORROW...... we are going to Nebraska FM shortly to get him the study loft bed....... OK.. short version of what happened........... he called one of the "popular" kids a stupid fag.......... kicked out for sexual harrasment. Then he got into it with a female classmate, who just so happens to have been his moms rival WHEN THEY WERE IN SCHOOL......... 20 years ago....we are talking exwife got her ass kicked by this woman in highschool over a guy (small town hell)..... and he called her an idiot, and she went home told her mom that he called her an ugly biotch............. this particular girl just happens to be african american and went to the school told the principal it was racial......... and so Cody got kicked out for 5 days for RACIAL SEXUAL HARRASMENT........ which is crazy....... family is COMPLETELY mixed on all sides....... I mean completely... and damn near half the town are related to the boys....... (which is why it is such a big issue)........... disfunctional family fued........ the fact that part of the fued is between exwife and girls mom....... (the girls DAD at one time was exwifes BROTHER IN LAW) and exwife was saving her younger sister from a beating....1988.... (SMALL TOWN HELL) OK.......... so now the mother of the girl.. is driving by their house and calling Cody (who is 12) names Also, mother of the daughter is threatening a repeat of 20 years ago.......... SMALL TOWN HELL

I've just returned home from my local support meeting... MAN I HAVE A BIG MOUTH! Several in the group.. said "YOU ARE TRACYinks???????" LOL........... yes people I have a BIG MOUTH both in real life AND online! I love my band.. it is no secret... One of the ladies Marcia, and I have tentative plans for lunch. and I met a really nice lady that goes by LapHappy... both were just banded a couple weeks ago....... Oh and NSV........ I wore my size 12's AND I COULD BREATHE! ohhhhhhhhhhhh 209 lbs today! 3 weeks and finally saw 209... 199 HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!! As to the DSS.............. I was already told to put the EAP on the back burner by DH, until DSS moves here.......He doesn't want to overload exwife, because she is a basket case as it is.. and I can completely understand....... its her son.....her first born..... DSS is so dam smart......... but is not considered gifted .... he is failing ADVISEMENT (teacher fault so he says) LAZY is what I say........ I mean the boy DOES his homework, and then doesn't turn it in! If he gets kicked out again it will be for 180 days.......... His mom doesn't want him going back to the school so that means he could very well be moving as early as next weekend! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH His room in our home is very small........ I converted my office for him 3 years ago, so that he COULD have his own space in my home..... we went to NE furnature mart last night and looked at Loft beds for him............ (LIKE I NEED ANOTHER BILL! ) but we found one that is a full size bed pretty tall and can hold 300lbs........ the entire underside of it is a really cool desk.. it would fit into his room and .. and would double his space!.. ok dh is in here wanting to leave..... wish me luck

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! talk to me in a month when I'm ready to strangle him....... I've been researching our schools and local scout troops today... he has a choice of 3 local troops........ This is his chance to reinvent himself and NOT be tagged as the mean smart kid...... but it's going to freak him out... going from a small town school to a medium sized town school.... the school he is coming from is an all in one type ......... our town has 2 middle schools that feed ONE high school (public) we have a parochial system too...... but that route is EXPENSIVE... his mom keeps crying, but we all agree..... he needs the strong arm of his 6'4" dad..... He was kicked out of school this week for the entire WEEK.... two weeks ago it was for a day......... (and this is our SUPER SMART kid who is college bound) why he is acting like such an ass is beyond me..... but he is acting like a jack ass...... and to top it off he wrote a runaway note and left it in his moms book...... obviously something is going on, and this is a huge cry for help, ..... geesh long story ..... YES... I've already called my company EAP to set up counseling..... OH lord help me........... this is going to be an adventure! We are going to dinner with them tomororw... and they don't know I'm banded so... I'm HAVING SOUP!!!!!!!!!!!!
