Oh and Kat......... I was told by the Bloodmobile people several times......... (SAVE YOUR VEINS for when YOU need them!) I have small, deep, rolling and colapsing viens and usually people have to butterfly what they need out of my hand...... I'm a hard stick.... ONE time in my life there was a really cute phelbotomist who got me on the first stick... (I never tell them I'm hard) and I said WOW that's the BEST I've EVER HAD!!!! He turned several shades of red and then I realized how it sounded so then I laughed and turned really red too!!!!!!!! It was quite funny.......... Another time I reduced a girl to tears because she said I jinxed her by telling her that I was a hard stick..... I felt SOOOOO bad.

Uhhhhhhhhhh I don't view cheese enchilada's as CRAP! but I brought in a big platter of fudge, pb balls and pretzels and dumb ASS me.... I ate a small pb ball ... and now the sucker is stuck.. because ............. duhhhhh it is MORNING!!!!!!! oh well.. serves me right. Also.. I awoke to find a diamond out of my grandma's ring missing! Luckily I had just gotten it back from Helzberg to have it ID'd and recertified, so I'm HOPING it will get fixed for free.... but the sucker just now fits again! booooohooooo Scale was 207......... I SWEAR up and down up and down.... I just wish I was already in ONEderland this teetering close is driving me insane..... I'm going to have to concentrate on carbs I guess to get me past the milestone. Terry I don't see how you are in 16's unless all your clothes are NON stretch and GV to me run small..... I know its my vanity speaking.......... but the cords from JCpenney I have on right now are 98% cotton and 2% spandex and they are size 12's.. (I have a brown pair and a black pair, and I have been able to wear them right off the rack) SO Jen if your at Penny's today try them on.......... they are St. Johns Bay (stretch) they also had some Ana brand but they didn't fit me as well............. oh and the jeans.. I wear both the 525 and the 515

Michelle! MONDAYS!!!!!!!!!!! If it makes you feel any better I was back up to 209 this morning....... 4lbs up and down.... Get out some goal clothes and start trying to get them on.... this for me tells the true story and if you've bee faithful in your exercise I'm betting your booty is firmer and your bod is getting smaller.. Suzie: I am a bad bad bad exerciser........... I have spotty attendance at my gym...... the most exercise I got this weekend was stirring fudge for hours and hours! Thanks everyone on the compliments......... its so hard because when I see the pics I just pick out my flaws... like my mushy gut a multitude of other things.......... but I have to remember what I WAS like a year ago........ I have a horrible pic of me at my sons skating party... I think it will be the focus of today's blog........ I have also found that I have been crying a lot.......... for stupid stuff....... but I realize its because I am no longer able to stress eat..... 1. Restriction does not allow it and 2. When I'm stressed my band swells even more....... I have to find another outlet and I know that exercise needs to be it.......... but getting my butt in gear in the mornings is a hard one....... Never felt anorexic, but the head issues we all face are tough ones....... at most I've felt a tad bullemic because I'm a stress and speed eater........ sometimes I take a bite of chewy garlic bread and chew it for the texture and taste and then spit it out because I know that it will not go through..... Yesterday I spent the day in tears because I was soooooo stressed and I COULD NOT EAT......... my dh was like.. (why are you crying?) and I just bawled harder saying..... I CAN'T EAT and I'm STRESSED and so this is OBVIOUSLY MY OUTLET.. so I've got to work on a better outlet and more import different habbits.........

LowCarbFriends.com has been my home for low carb for years............ Eating a lower carb diet pre band I lost 70-80 lbs 3 times and was also able to control my PCOS and get pregnant....... watching my carbs helps ME immensley.. that said.. since I now eat so little........ I don't really aim for 20 carbs a day..... I aim for protien amounts... I eat the Weight Control oatmeal that has less sugar than regular oatmeal....... I use SF creamer in my coffee... but I do have a cracker here and there with my meat sauces and such... I KNOW if I were adhering to the strict 20carb a day plan of my past that I would be well into ONEderland by now, but this journey is a tad different........ and even more so.. this is my last trip down the scale! (GOD WILLING) :confused:

GEEEEEEEEEshhh I forgot to tell you all about my huge NSV this morning.......... OK.. so we get up and go over to my sisters... I am wearing a pair of my size 12 levis and my good VS pushup bra and a t-shirt......... DH said.. dang you look perky today... LOL....... so we get to my sisters and I feel like I look good....... my BIL comes in from the garage and he says hey sis...... then he stops, looks again and says....... DAM!!!!!!! YOUR THIN!!!!! as he continues to look at me up and down with his jaw open... my sis, my mom and dh all laughed that he just now noticed the change......... I guess my face turned really red as I blushed and dh made SURE to point it out that I was blushing... IT FELT SO GOOD to look good!

sorry about all the typo's I just got back from making 9 double batches of holiday FUDGE.. (today was Christmas Candy Making Day with my family) I am pooped and I have several sugar splatter burns on me.. but really I'm just tired :confused:

I guess I have to explain... for the last 3 christmas's I had been expecting a ring and was always disappointed...... 3 christmas's ago .............. shrek stole my son from his babysitter with the aid of the local police (going off old papers) which is what started the battle of the court and is now all in the past since the adoption is final and Shrek couldn't pull that crap again even if he wanted........ anyway....... I have all that I could desire... my son will never have to face going to live with shrek even if something were to happen to me......

GOOD EVENING! We just returned home from my sisters where we had our candy making extravaganza........... Since my grandma passed I have become the family fudgemaker and today I made 9 double batches of various fudge and trained two of my neices to be helpers! :confused: Gina: There is nothing special about my fudge.. it is simply the recipee off the back of the marshmellow fluff jar... except I substitute various kinds of chips....... quick ingrediants for a double batch: 6cups sugar 3 sticks butter 10oz of Evaporated milk (melt all in a pan until it soft boils for 4 minutes) then after it is done boiling .. remove from heat and add 2 tsp vanilla 2 jars of marshmellow fluff (small jars) 3 bags of chocolate chips 1 bag of nuts Variations include peanut butter, butterscotch, white.... (if I make pb or butterscotch I substitue 2 cups of brown sugar) Also, we made peanut butter balls and about everyting dipped in various flavors of almond bark......... That said....... I ATE VERY LITTLE TODAY! I did indulge on a bite or two of the warm fudge(s) but not like I would of normally.... and NOT ONE PBBall has passed my lips! I was 205 this morning and I'm HOPING that I held it today.... Everyone had chili dogs for lunch and ham for dinner and I had tomatoe soup for both........ I did try a bit of ham and it went down fine. Cody is settling in fine..... this is a kid weekend so we have all four.... they were a lot better behaved and I'm hoping its due to Cody living with us and not fighting for so much of dad attention since he has it through out the week. All of our christmas is wrapped and under the tree...... DH and I both had a set amount of money to spend on christmas for ourselves... I bought me a new comforter set and then paid bills! Not really romantic... but I have all that I want.. my rings, a marriage, and an adoption...... my life is complete.

Michelle I like the dress, but I have to say that I LOVE Jennifurs dress.......... it it would be much more forgiving in the hips and thigh area......... although the lace overlay of the dress you posted would really be more of the THEME of the NYE gala.. especially all dolled up like Terry described. audri: YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only you know how to best approach your husband. Just from reading the few posts I have, I would say that you are doing the right thing for you. I think when it does come to a head and you fess up that you will need to point out the support you have given for his passion the boat......... this is your passion... becoming healthy for you, him and your boys. For the non banded and even more for the non obese... they don't understand what we go through.... and some never get it. My husband used to make fun of me when I would try going back to low carb.. he just didn't get it... (I did all my research without him knowing, I signed up for several seminars but then backed out... until finally I decided... come hell or high Water I was getting it done... I looked into Mexico, denver and other self pay options near me........... then I found out that my insurance DID cover it!................. so I hem hawed back and forth until I finally told him I was "thinking" about it and asked him if he would attend the seminar with me.... suprisingly he said yes......... He went........ he only really wanted to know how it would affect HIM. I put the money in my flex account for all the deductibles, it was my insurance that I work with daily so I handled all the details of approval, ....... still....... he was worried about how it would affect HIM........ how would HE deal with me not eating the same types of things, how would HE deal with going to buffets, how would HE deal with MY surgery......... still sometimes there are issues.......... he doesn't like to eat alone, but in reality he had to get over it...... When the family has spaghetti, I only have the sauce and a few crackers, when the family eats at the buffet I take my time and only eat a bite of this or that, while the rest waste plate after plate....... when we go out for mexican (like we are tonight) he will have an entire order of fahita's and a basket or two of chips and I will have MAYBE 3 chips and a bowl of tortilla soup............... the moral....... YOU CAN DO THIS and HE CAN GET USED TO IT!
