Things that seem to swell my band..... Mornings Stress TOM Stress is a biggie for me.......... if I am stressed at all I should just eat soup and sip coffee! WIERD but true! Go with it! :eek:

I've answered this many times, many ways...... but the short version. MAINTENENCE! the ongoing fills (when needed) are the magic... I've been up and down the scale so many times, I know that if I had the RNY I would eventually have a regain. I doubt I will need another fill maybe NEVER, but if I do... I can... Other reasons that make my top 10. 1. Surgery on Thursday, back to work the following Monday 2. All my inards are in tact 3. Down the road, if needed I could get a total unfil, and then start the process again. 4. Reversible.. any general surgeon can remove the band. 5. I absorb the nutrients from the food I eat (RNY is a malabsorbative procedure) and even though you can easily start a regain, you will never absorb the nutrients. 6. I am horrible about taking vitimins.. w the RNY you must be religious in your Bariatric Vitimins and most get VitB shots. 7. I have two friends who had the RNY... both are fighting Regains...... one more severe than the other, and both have the RNY "look". 8. The RNY scared me. 9. Ports do not scare me as they have been used for a long time, the band is just a different application. (my grandma had a port for pain meds) 10. If and when I need a revision or replacement.. I will say BRING ON THE NEW and IMPROVED VERSION!

I stepped on it like I always do, first thing... naked after I pee......... and the "square glass of truth" read 199.2 lbs!!!!!!!! I was so stinking happy I got off to go fetch my camera..... but sadly when I stepped back on........ it read 201.2!!!!!!!!!! p.o'd I got off and on again........... 201.2! (insert cuss words here) but I'm close....... Everyone have a great CTCD! I'm going to TRY and drink water today!

I am horrible about drinking my water............... as a matter of fact the day has gotten away from me and I've had two cups of coffee and a few wheat thins........ AND THAT IS IT............. I am a bit hungry now that I typed it out.. but otherwise... I TOTALLY FORGOT..... weird..... I LOVE MY BAND!

DH just called to say that he is going home sick (we all have caught SOMETHING) and he is stopping by to pick Robby up... about an hour ago I met my sister half way between our towns.. she was saving my sanity by keeping him for the afternoon......... so now DH is picking him up already..... My head is stuffed, DH has the big D, but no sinus.. and Robby has green snot........ we are a lovely bunch! I did get my payroll submitted.. so that is good... now on to the next task. Congrats everyone on getting through Christmas! DH and I had a talk... we both think I'm a tad too tight... so maybe I shouldn't of gotten that .3 cc fill.......... I had a small amount of mashed potatoes and brown gravey yesterday............ a couple chocholate covered ritz crackers, and that was it for food..... except a piece of cherry pie that didn't really work... it's almost like some things are too rich... Kind of like, when I've been really good on a Low Carb plan for a long time and then I get sick if I eat something too sugary. I don't know... I'm going to really try and pay attention to what I'm eating and how fast and then evaluate if I need a small unfill..... (but dang it I WANT ONEDERLAND!!!!!!) I eat crackers because they go down.... and soup..... but like right now.. I've had nothing to eat and I'm really not overly hungry.. and I really don't want to pb.. still kinda freaked over the meat ball incident. For Christmas, I got some clothes that I bought and wrapped , and put under the tree...... a couple of the sweaters are too tight yet. The one thing I did get suprised on was.. a pretty circle necklace from Helzburg.... it has teeny tiny diamonds on it, but it is so pretty and was a complete suprise........ I said it before....... the best Christmas present is that Robby has been adopted by Charles..... he is safe. The wedding invitations arrived in the mail! Guess its time to start thinking about it again.

The morning started off OK... I am sick....... Nasal, but the scale said 202! Officially -70 lbs............... but then as I waited 20 minutes at the daycare, I realized they ARE CLOSED! I am pissed......... They have a sign posted of the holidays and I KNOW they didn't have this posted originally.......... but again. they cater to the teachers and all the teachers are off til January 7th! 14 teacher(s) kids attend my son's daycare... I am pissed....... I have payroll to process.. my boss is gone so I MUST be here, and now I have a 4 year old underfoot at work........... Cody (the 12 year old is at his moms for the week).............. I am completely ticked off........... but I need to get over it and get busy.

Merry Christmas EVE.......... I'm posting from WORK! blech...... and I had a call at 7a this morning........ remember that lady that I got a job here in our housekeeping dept in May..... (the one with hearing issues?) Well she had volunteered to work today since she has no family and such.. and today is automatic Time and a Half ot pay............... She slipped on the ice coming into the building and broke her ankle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the really bad part........ she was wearing FLATS.. (I guess she tried to dress up a little since its Christmas, but common sense failed her......... she tried to scale a mound of snow wearing FLATS) We are on a huge campus and our Campus/Grounds dept is 4 guys who have been putting in 60 hour weeks to keep up.... I feel so bad for her, but OMG this is going to be a workers comp nightmare..... and my boss is gone til Jan 8........ he DESPISES Work Comp Claims........... she is at the hospital now, and I'm going to start the payroll process and handle the claim as much as I can til normal business resumes.

GOOD MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is Charles B-Day and we are having Christmas at my Dads with all the boys and all my sisters Girls (they have 5 total) plus 1 boyfriend....... We got hit with 8.6 inches of snow last night........ makes it really pretty.... luckily no ice this time. Denise I LOVE those 3D sono's!!!!! they are the coolest! Congrats Grandma! Cindy: LOVE YOUR AVATAR and the cruise pics! Haydee: the house and tree look BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!! Michelle: WOW what a dream! Maybe you need to have the calming sounds on while you sleep.. or maybe the sounds of a porno... LOL Pam: Have fun with a full house and remember to TAKE IT EASY! Suzie: How much snow did you guys get? Terry: That is horrible about your bosses daughter, but thank goodness she is ok.... maybe this happened to show that people CAN LIVE through the worst.. a Christmas Miracle... I can relate to no meat........ I am trying to wait it out like Laura though....... I had the worst pb that I've ever had last night.. it wasn't a normal one...... (where it gets stuck above the band) this one the bbq meatball(s) had made it through but once it hit my bottom stomach pouch it didn't sit well and I ended up heaving... painfully heaving..... and for the rest of the night I was in pain.. pain around my port and all in my lower stomach.. it freaked me out, it freaked charles out and I ended up sleeping with a heating pad on it...(feels better today) but I'm having Soup today and thats it. (also need to work on my Water, because like Suzie... I've been getting constipated more and more) but all I had to drink yesterday was coffee and tomatoe soup........ I KNOW that if I had been drinking my water that I would be 199 today instead of 204.......... OK.. time to get a move on... Have a great day!

We don't get bonuses......... but remember.. I WORK IN A CONVENT! The sisters give us a lunch where they put on a program and usually they give a gift of some sort... this year was a check for $90 so that was nice......... but a far cry from the 1-4% bonus I used to get in Corp America...... My sister gets 5K yearly.... but I don't have her stress.......... Have a wonderful Holiday! p.s. Haydee: I got your card today! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I'm skipping 3 pages of posts... I had jury duty today so this is the first time I've checked....... Getting ready to go to Cody's Court of Honor (Boy Scout dinner) tonight.......... They are all so dang spoiled........... Cody had his shirt fixed and all his patches added, and his badged added to his sash, Charles got a leader shirt with all the appropriate patches and today I found (boy scout green, LEVIS work carpenter jeans) at the Levis Outlet for $19.00!!! So then Robby is dressed to match them... green cargo pants and a kakhi colored shirt (that we just had in his closet) We are calling it the little brother boy scout shirt.................. they all three look so handsome! I'm in my size 12 black cords, black sweater tank, and lavendar see throughish sweater (from Kohls) I will try to get a pic but not making any promises! OK dh wants to check his email............ have a great night!

Afternoon Vi's.. as I type this I'm on hold trying to get my Thyroid script renewed! FUN FUN!!!!!!!!!!! TOM is due any day, and I'm getting cramps..... Reheated enchilada's eaten to fast ... did not work for me today......... I'm a barrel of laughs.... Still dreaming about christmas sugar cookies...........

I’m so excited! I just got back from the place that is going to put on Cody’s Boy Scout patches and to my surprise the lady (who’s shop name is the UNIFORM CONNECTION) had EVERYTHING……… so I am suprising Charles with his own Adult leader Shirt with the proper patches! (Early birthday present) The lady is fixing all Cody’s patches since they were not put on correctly or in the right places and some have to be taken off…….. plus he had merit badges to put on his sash, she called the Boy Scout Counsil office and is getting him his Camp Geiger patch so that he can add his smaller camp badges to it… and she is leaving the stuff that he can keep. (She is also a leader, and she knows placement backwards and forwards) She even had the socks, hats, belts and EVERTHING for every scout.. Boy, and Girl, Catholic School, Gymnastics, and Scrubs……….. So both Cody and Charles get to wear their official shirts to the dinner on Wednesday! I am also going to pick up some little things for Cody and Josh and his Cub Scouts
