OK.... I had to sneak in before I start my day.. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JUDY, Jane and TracyK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mail was overflowing yesterday... I just love you guys. I am truly touched that people I've come to know and love over the net care enough about little ol me to send cards and gifts for my wedding... as if I wasnt emotional enough.. THANK YOU! Thanks to each and every single one of you for making my life better! OK.............. gotta go.. Wish me luck!

HELLLLLLLLLLLO!!!!!!!!!! ROBBY HAS STREP THROAT!!!!!!!!!!!! My BOSS's 85 yr old dad is in the hospital Upstate NY and most likely going to pass away soon.......... aka next week is payroll week and I've been training him to do it for the last 3 pay cycles and now he may be GONE to NY... (so I'm in fix it mode trying to get my laptop set up to do it on the road if needed) Charles had to take a suprise business trip to NE and is gone... while I use my honeymoon PTO time to take Robby to the doc.. (been running all day) Charles brother called to say they can't make the wedding... (crappy) Charles niece is with a dumbass Shrek wanna be and she will most likely not make the wedding either.. (he has very few living relatives and this just sucks) I'm getting cramps and crying at commericals like TOM is going to start anyday. I got an email from the people at Allergen........ (kind of cool) I was invited to a workshop next week in KC for brainstorming with the makers of the band...... (the email said I had been identified as a leader in the LapBand community) WTH?????? my big mouth maybe????? anyway.. cool as it is.... I will be gone. ahhhhhhhh........ mainly stressed that I am off work so much right before vacation. Haydee: I laughed at your band losening technique! go Juan go Juan go go go! I think she is funny, very sly though..... she was the person who had never been camping and freaked out when she had to use a leaf going to the bathroom....... so she has really grown on the show.......... but that woman is sly and might just of outed herself at tribal..... TracyK: I LOVED YauMan from his original season......... he seemed the weak link, but his little engineering mind is soooo smart! He made it very far last season........ but I too LOVE James and Dolphin boy OZZIE... although they all have big targets on their backs...... I am a sucker for the underogs.... Ozzie and James have to be careful that the two strongest players get wrapped around the little fingers of the bikini beauties...... I did something last night that I haven't done in months............ I baked.. muffins, cake and cranberry bread........ I made cream cheese frosting and then I ATE IT............ with no problems........... WTH is wrong with me?????????? This is self sabotaging Tracy at work....... you'd think I'd be a little more focused since the wedding is a week away.......... but no......... not ONE tiny sip of water passed my lips yesterday and not only did I NOT cut the crap......... I looked at my first entry and it was from 12/27/2006............ wow so much has changed since then. Namely....... my weight! shakeit shakeit shakeit I have a real blog that I post to weekly that is tied to my signature line....... I got insurance approval in January but couldn't get scheduled until April 26,2007 due to the hospital my insurance required...... so I went on a farewell to food tour and gained weight.. finally April 1, 2007 I faced the scale at 272... today I'm a slim 191 and wearing size 12 jeans and size Large shirts........ FREAKING AWESOME! I have already posted my bands life story all over this board.. so just look for my posts, check out my blog or my.. myspace..... I'm an open book. I LOVE MY BAND!:thumbup:

I never did a journal.......... I am horrible about writing down what I eat... all docs, insurance and requirements are different...... Congrats on getting things right with your insurance, and hopefully you will be soon to get a date!

I have hypothyroid, and PCOS......... my surgery was 45 minutes and I was off work for 2 days........... I LOVE LOVE LOVE my band............. and today I'm wearing a pair of size 12 pants and a size large shirt! PRICELESS This time last year I was sad, miserable and busting out of size 24's. I beat myself up for two years........... I chickened out of consults and seminars.......... finally I got the nerve, got the approval and never looked back!

WLS is a big step........ the type of surgery you chose is also a big step. Of Course since I have the band.. I view it to be the best choice for me. I had 2 friends undergo the RNY and both lost weight (a lot of weight) but they are also now fighting regains and their nutritional needs NEVER go away.. for them it was the right choice....... we are all now about the same weight..... and we all look great. I have the added benefit that my fills are adjustable........ their surgery is not. (and restretching the pouch can not be undone) Good luck............. research your little eyes out!

Next week and you'll be in bandland!

Good morning! It snowed a bit last night............ blechhhhhhhhh! Terry: Hugs and prayers and our spirits are with you today in all that you must go through. My sister just had another cancer scare last week and didn't tell my mom or I until the tests came back clean..... (I broke down in tears) plus I was p.o.'d that she left us out ............ her health has always scared me... she has always been the thin gorgeous one but she has had more than her share of health issues...... so as we are now middle aged it scares the crap out of me............ OK.... anyway...... I think my body must be shifting again because even though the pounds are not really flying off my clothes are fitting better... and its becoming more noticable...... my 17 yr old neice who hasn't seen me in about 4 weeks said that I look thinner than the last time and that has only been about 3 lbs..
