Thanks for all the comments today... I've kind of had a weird few hours so I've been offline.. Sara: Hard Stop = PB I have an hour left at work, and tonight is SURVIVOR!!!! Terri: You are so right........ if we didn't have this board, we would all be fumbling around, poking at our bellies, wondering what was going on in there...... our significan others would get so bored with us constantly talking about our squeaky bands! I think I got everyone added back to the list... OnlyMe..

OK... have you all heard (from vetran bandsters) about Soft Stops & Hard Stops? Meaning.... the signals your body gives you when you are full and need to STOP eating.. One of the "Soft Stop" signals is your nose running.....:omg: A little while ago I was down in our break room heating up some leftovers, (I won't go into EXACTLY what it was.. since I know many of you are starting on your liquid diets and it would be considered FOOD PORN) LOL Anyway..... here I was eating away at my bowl of warmed up stuff and about 1/3 of the way into it, MY NOSE STARTED RUNNING!!! I thought it was weird because the food was not spicy.. and then it hit me.. THIS IS MY SOFT STOP!!!!!! Maybe this signal has been happening to me forever and I just never put the fork down long enough to notice it... and this is the REALLY awesome part........... I got up and dumped the remainder of the bowl INTO THE TRASH!!!!!! I did NOT save it for later, I DUMPED IT! Yay ME!:mad:

Going through a heartwrenching divorce will REALLY, REALLY, REALLY weed out your true friends..... My life got crazy..... the two friends who stuck by me (even when I was doing STUPID things) will always have my love and devotion....... they were so glad when the real Tracy came back. The friend who I lost....... well.. she isn't worth my time or effort and although we live about 5 minutes apart, I have not spoken to her in two years........ I know she is waiting for me to grovel, suck up, or shower her with attention, but it aint happening....

Hello... I'm a April 07 bandster but I read all over the place.. I wanted to pop in here and say... that all your losses are really inspiring! Drews: You pics over on the before and after page are WONDERFUL! I think it is so cool that you've started with the derby.. did you ever pic a name! I agree.. with all the others who said you need to up your calories a bit, because of the increased workouts.. you are building some major muscle and that chick on BUNS of STEEL will have NOTHING on you!!! I don't really read negative stuff.. I just move on to the positives... I get what I NEED from lbt..... KEEP up the great work.. there are those lurkers who gain inspiration from each and every one of you!

julz: OMG.. your post about your son had my eyes watering....... (my son is my life.. he is my little atkins after divorce miracle, and I often obsess about something happening to him and how I would just lose it and they would have to cart me away in a straight jacket) so you losing your son really struck a chord and now I'm full on crying just from typing this...... but I also cry at hallmark commercials!
