I just went and ordered some ISOPURE no carb (protein water) off the GNC website. I HOPE I like the stuff! At GNC here locally, a single bottle was priced at $3.79........ I just ordered 24 of them for $67.86.. That price also inclued their GNC gold card and a discount coupon I copied off the net, and tax... (free shipping)...... I figured this way I paid $2.83 each for them.......... geesh.. I hope they are good... They have zero carbs, and 40 grams of protein.. so I'm planning this for the clear stage and beyond.

It is simply BEAUTIFUL here today! Sara: This place has a tour that goes up to the mountains and you zipline, horseback ride, waterslide and then end with a mud bath...... I AM SO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!! and by Feb 08 maybe I'll be down 80lbs or more and I can enjoy IT! I can not believe my boss offered this to me.... I guess I have to stop being annoyed by him now!!! LOL and he still doesn't know I'm having surgery... (I've teased him about adopting me, because they aren't hurting for money, and he just dropped 30K on his daughters wedding) He is just about ready to retire, and the only reason he hasn't given it up yet is that our insurance is good, and he needs it. I have less than a month to go befor surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been so dang busy the last couple of days, but I just got a HUGE motivator from my boss.......... He told me yesterday that he is giving me ONE WEEK of his timeshare to use at a resort in COSTA RICA!!!!!!!!! We just have to pay for airfare, passports and stuff... but the condo is FREE for us! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO! He would like for me to use it in 2007, but its looking like Feb of 08 for us! http://www.condovac.com/

Hi Ya folks... I have no idea who besides me will ever read this,but I have to put my thoughts down on something..... I decided to get the band after I found out it was covered on my insurance.... well not entirely true....... I had been thinking, debating, pondering, calculating the cost for over a year now. I have two very close friends who had the RNY.. one going on 4 years post op, and one going on 2 years post op... BOTH Have done wonderful, both have lost over 100 lbs. ONE of them has regained 25% of her weight back,but is still happy with her decision........ BOTH say that it is THE best thing they ever did for themselves...... that said.. IT is not for me....... I chose the band for many reasons....... A simple week of PTO off from work and no one.... will even know... No one but my Sig Other, My mom and now as of today my sis! I have already been emailing my insurance company, the program coordinator at my surgeons office, and today... I just found out that I have my first consult with the doc on 1/08/2007..... I am HOPING/Praying that I might possibly have my band by the end of January or beginning of February......... a PIPE DREAM.. maybe... but maybee not. Today I weigh: 263 give or take a few christmas pounds... this is my top weight except when I delivered my son. Stay Tuned

I have decided that I need to really get going with some kind of pre op, because I've gained.. I can feel it, and my ankles are swelling like I'm a pregnant girl........ not good. It will really depend on how much you weigh now....... the goal would be to NOT gain any weight and one gal that I know had a RNY was told she could safely lose weight, because it would help her heart. As always.. only you and your doctor know YOUR biz....so rely on his experience to guide you in the right direction.

Your the first, I've seen! CONGRATS!!!! If I were you I'd start a List page and then you can keep going back and editing it.. (notice on the April 07 pages.. I just keep going back and "editing" the same post over and over......

Soon after I posted my good morning greeting my (short version) 1) Work Puter Died (Black Screen of Death) 2) Filing Cabinet Fell over ON me ( 2 drawers, employee files ) 3) Went P, and when I bent over, the seam of my slacks split WIDE OPEN! (and I'm wearing grannie panties today!!!! ) Needless to say I went home to mend my clothing malfunction..... Returned to work to find a LOANER computer in my office... and I have spent the last 2.5 hours reloading software................. and here I thought I would have a nice quiet day!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Terri, the April 06 bandversary thread should be a requirement for us to read! WE ARE SO LUCKY to Have the 06'rs taking us under their wings!!! I don't know of any other monthy thread that has done this for their... counterparts. JulieNYC is getting ready to have ps, and will need our support, Betty(GuySis) has a husband that had surgery, and Kat just got through a grandbaby crisis....... Boo, Amourette, and all the rest that pop over here to nudge us in the right direction.... deserve a great big group cyberhug from us. I for one, gain inspiration from them every day. I really need to get some stuff done.. so I SHOULD NOT BE on here all day!! (but I'll check back later)
