Haydee and Jennifur: this is my $.02 on the bf issue.(truly I don't mean to sound harsh in the written word..know that I say this out of concern and experience).... you have your answers but you guys are both waiting for the answer to change. Both of you are being used. They both know they are loved enough to want a commitment, but they are stringing you along and not returning the same love..and the fact that Haydee you have waited to have kids... STOP waiting on him. All the years you both have vested in the relationships have been your crutch of security but it is not secure.. it is a false sense of security and one that you NO LONGER NEED. You are both STRONG, INDEPENDANT WOMEN who have made a choice to take this big WLS step... it is JUST THE BEGINNING!!!!!!! and watch out world... we have two single hotties on the horizon! You don't need the emotional baggage that is tied to the dbfs. LIFE IS SHORT GIRLFRIENDS! TIME TO LIVE IT!

Good to see you KCQ and welcome Katie! I want to say a heart felt thank you for all the feedback and pm's... it all really did help to see it from outside my RL world. My son is a mere 3.5 yrs old.. but dare I say the MOST INTELIGENT LITTLE MAN! (LOL mamma bias talking here ) I always go through this when I get a request to meet up with one of the two....and yes their lives are drama filled and and our biggest drama is maxing out the Home Depot Card because of a busted sewer line! LOL DBF and I have been together over 2 years now so my son was 1.5 when our two families blended...... I am putting it off for now its what is in my gut truly.. I just have this fear of later down the road when my pubesent son who is towering over me decides to go all teenager on me and seek out Shrek and think he is COOL,.. but this is me over thinking it. I KNOW!!! thanks for letting me vent..... Back to bandtopic............. I ate Mexican tonight! I had 3 chips and salsa.. and 99% of my chicken quesadilla... but it was only a HALF SIZE... normally I would of been p.o.d at the small size but tonight it was about right........ I do need a fill.. and I hope I can feel it... I REALLY want to be in the 230s for my June 1st pic........ more and more people are noticing and it is totally weird because I have so much to lose... 28 lbs is a drop in my BMI bucket! FAT ANGELS IN TIGHTS UNITE! Well I'm off to bed.. I just watched Grey's finale and it just stunk! What a depressing way to end the season....... I am thirsty but I try not to put anything into my mouth right before bed time..... (I think oprah did a thing on it a year or so ago) HaVE A GREAT evening you Night Owls! p.s. Laura.. good luck with all the wedding planning........ invite everyone! .. those that won't come will send money and gift cards! LOL and I still have some of my old towels (and I was married in 88) good towels that out lasted a marriage.. hey now thats an ad campain waiting to happen! A friend of mine a work just got married (she's such a young thing like you) I got her HOME DEPOT gift cards.. and for the shower I got her a mop bucket filled with supplies and goofy things like mouse traps and light bulbs.... the more politically correct attendee looked horrified but the bride and her mom (also my bestest work bud) LOVED IT!!!! and they used the Home Depot card to buy kitchen paint....... OK GOOD NIGHT FRIENDS!

Angie: You are probably not losing as fast as some because you are already in ONEderland! I bet your fill WILL help, and I bet you start losing inches QUICK I hope everyone is having a great day... I have yet to get any water in, because I ate lunch and now am waiting my hour before drinking. My dilema from earlier is that the mother of my son's half sister has emailed requesting that we get together this summer.... quick background: My son's bio father is a low life (with strong sperm) he was my rebound loser after my heartbreaking divorce and I got pregnant after a life of infertility.. so my son is MY MIRACLE and I literaly thank God everyday for giving him to me, and having him is worth ALL the heartbreak and life changes that got me to the point of hooking up with such a loser.....because of this I over analyse everything that affects him......... Bio "Shrek" has 4 known kids with 4 formerly infertile women, my son being the youngest (that I know of). While I was with him and during pregnacy I made nice with 2 of the other mothers and was allowed to pick up the kids for weekends.. (I felt this was my duty) anyway when I booted "Shrek" the visitations ended because I was the only one giving it any effort...... my son has not seen any of his half siblings since he was 6 months old. They however are now 10 and 11, and know about their baby brother........... I have tried to do the right thing by emailing occassional updates and pictures.. and any that they send me goes into his book that I'm creating for when he gets older. Shrek lives a mere 5 blocks from me but does not have contact. He sends about $20 a month to SRS for child support so that the arrest warrants stay off his back. (there is a whole long drama induced story where he is concerned) The last time Robby saw him was a year ago April, and Robby just refers to him as "that big guy, or his other daddy". I never say anything negative about him because I don't believe in it, and if he asks questions I answer as diplomatically as possible, but he may make one or two comments every couple months I will say this too... when I first had my son, I truly believed that everyone deserved to know their bio's even if they were a piece of crap. I refused to use him as a pawn....... but the day I found out that he had left him alone in a car at a downtown gas station in no car seat hanging out the window saying hi to all the passerby's I was LIVID.. (he ran in to get cigs) and I only found this out because another mother at daycare saw him and thought it was ME who left him and wanted me reported.. she told the babysitter and the babysitter told me..... Yes, momma grizzley syndrome went into affect and I took him to court to get supervised visitation and sole custody....... I got the sole custody and he failed the Court ordered Supervised Visitations and that was over a year ago............. My family thinks I should not have any contact whatsoever with Shreks family or other kids.. they say it will only confuse him and make him want Shrek... but I am torn..... I will not have any other children and DBF and I are not married although we share a life and he thinks of DBF's kids as his brothers... they don't LOOK like him they don't share the same last name........ oh... and another thing that makes it difficult the email I got today from one of the mothers... well she has a female partner now, and she makes no bones about it that she doesn't like me.. she FORBID we have contact.. so emails I get are always without her knowledge.. STICKY situation......... but it all boils down to...... WHAT IS BEST FOR MY SON? Should I put off the meeting til he is older?

I had my son when I was 33 so you have plenty of time to get a handle on your band and weight before starting you next big project. Jennifur and Terri... RE the colonix..... very interesting about the intestinal CAST... My sis is loving the stuff, but like I said she has major bathroom problems. She is amazed at being able to go. OK....... finally saw a new low number on the scale today.. so I lost all my Branson weight and the weight from eating solid food.... to do this I am forcing myself to only eat small amounts and protein first... so I'm in DIET mode. My boss went home and told his wife that I was losing weight and now she wants to know what I'm doing.. So I was honest........ Eating Less, Watching My Carbs and drinking my water! (that is AFTERALL what I'm doing.. right??) All the 16's I'm in are stretchy, and I carry my weight all over... esecially in places like my arms.... OH TO HAVE TANK TOP ARMS... a girl can dream...... right??? I need to start in on water I'm slacking today........ it is a quarter til 11 and I have not had one thing to eat.. and I've only drank my coffee..... I'm having a moral dilima which I may get into later today, but I will say it involves my son 3.5 and his biological half sister 10...... but I need to digest the email I got before I get into it. OFF TO GET WATER!!!!!!

What she said...... A bit of tough love and all the directness of a guy. We all need it once in a while (at least I do) As for your BF Cajun: I agree that you should kick him to the curb... he is an ass and will continue to be so.. ESPECIALLY when you start losing weight.. he will then feel threatened and even more insecure than he does right now, and if you quit being his victim he will just get more hurtful! LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TO MAKE HIM GO AWAY!

I can't feel it or the port.......... the only time I know its in there is when I eat Beans and my billy the little bad ass band knocks me on my butt... NO MORE BEANS for TRACY!!!!!!! (although most tolerate them well)

I have a pair of size 8 jeans still with the tags.... I bought them when I was loosing the last time and was able to get on 10's of the same jean.. they are stretchy and they were on sale for 4.99 so I bought several pairs! The clothes I really want to get back into are my size 12 Levis.. I look at them now and think....... damn was I really that little???? The jeans I can get into now are stretchy 16's I'm hoping to get into my old levis around 209 lbs... (I think I was around that weight when I grew out of them) I really am so happy to see the inches going down with only being down 27 lbs! My shirt goal is to feel OK in a tank top, but my arms are already floppy and will be just horrific by the time I get to goal.... I can feel my upper belly getting smaller and I can see it in my face.. I really really really want to be in the 230's by the time my June pic comes around

Be patient grasshopper they will come! Just keep posting and keeping this thread close to the top.. as more get their dates they will come looking for others and I think Lucky 7's is a GREAT NAME!!!!!!!!

HELLO Fellow Violets!!!!!!! I had a hard time getting in today so now it is already afternoon! I was VERY happy to see the weight on my siggy this a.m. now I want those 230's!!!!! I have had 1 pc cajun string cheese 1 fairly large pc of meatloaf 1 cookie ( ) 44 oz's of water..... My sister and her best friend just started a colon cleansing program Colon Cleansing, Constipation, IBS, Colonix, Cleanse, Detox – Online Resource and I am about ready to try it myself, I wonder if it would be ok for us! I'm guess it would be since we have all our innards. I will warn you the pics on the website are DISGUSTING so if you thought my surgery pictures were gross..... BE WARNED..... I will also say that my sis (who is only on day two) is already a believer.. she's had bathroom problems her ENTIRE LIFE... she used to run from my grandma if she had a bar of soap in her hand! LOL sad but true. Feed back anyone???? NSV: I am now able to wear 5 pairs of my old jeans and two of my old "good" bra's that I had gotten too wide for. My boss, today said he could tell I was losing weight.... (HE DOES NOT KNOW I HAD SURGERY) but he does know that I'm on a diet and paid to see a nutritionist. Also... this is pretty amazing because he is a near retirment normally unobservant MAN!

After you are healed it will be a complete Your Mileage Will Vary issue on what you can tolerate or not....... my doc said the only thing I HAVE to give up is whitey doughy bread, but as soon as he said that, someone stood up and said they can tolerate it just fine... (especially if you leave your band more open) Another thing is that you will be FULL sooner and you won't miss the food. I just went to the land of buffets over the weekend and although I have NOT had a fill yet....... I ate 1 plate of food instead of the 3-4 I could normally put away..... and I was full (really full)

I think 40 lbs is AWESOME!!!!! especially since you are in bandster hell! Keep walking and those inches will just fall off!

thanks Deanna: but I have to confess....... DBF is 6'4" and when he takes our pic from his angle my face always looks thinner.. (like on my avatar) but yes I am happy to see my face getting thinner.... Yippee!

Denise, Jane and Pamela: I can eat WAYYYYYYYY too much.. bandster hell has set in, Pam I think you did it to yourself because (like me) you were self medicating with food.. you felt heart sick and then you felt band sick...
