HELLO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has been simply crazy around here and I have not been weighing til I get my fill on Monday... I can eat anything and it really stinks. All the pup pictures are so CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gr8: I hope my fill goes better than yours! I am so excited to finally begin my restricted journey. Last time I posted we were heading to Columbia for dbf's job interview. It lasted 4 hours! They put us up and paid for our gas. No offer yet, but I'm betting that he gets one next week.......... if he does I will be getting hitched so that I can put everyone on my insurance for the remainder of the year.. and it also means a move to Columbia MO within 12 months (Relocation Package)......... Ya.. I know it doesn't sound all romantic like Laura impeding nuptuals, but I already had my big church wedding many moons ago (1988) and I still ended up divorced. Yes this equals me a teensy bit bitter.. but my divorce was very hard on me it has somewhat screwed up my head for life. These days its different, and dbf have the same goals and ethics about raising kids. To pick up and give up my cushy job, sell my home and move several hours away from my very closeknit family I have to be legally married.... and thats the way I see it. Heck, I may even sell my old ring and pick me out a new one.... I KNOW, I KNOW.......... where is the romance you say? Long gone and been replaced with companionship, shared goals and common sense............ Have a great day!

HOLY HECK.... where have I been????? With the holiday, I had to bust booty on payroll yesterday and today, and out of the BLUE.. dbf has a job interview in Columbia MO tomorrow.. they are putting us up in a hotel tonight so today at lunch I was scrambling around to throw some clothes and swim suits in a bag so we can hit the road as soon as I get home. Teach and Terri: you are both losing pounds! I am boycotting the scale til I get a fill.... which is Monday. I need to go catch up on posts and then clear my office for my day off tomorrow.

Laura: My doc gives us back our carbonated beverages after 4 weeks, but I just told dbf tonight that even though he says its ok, I won't go back to drinking as much dt. dr pepper as I used to ........ I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend. Like Laura I'm getting back on the wagon tomorrow!

my good buddy that had the RNY 4 years ago has the arm issue.. she wears long sleeves... even when dressing fancy (like a lacey see through long sleeve) it holds her arms in.. I LOVE teradactle WINGS!!!!!!!! LOL Thanks Jachut for the info.. I'm going to look it up.

Going for Walk #3 this week! JUST DO IT will be ringing in my head as I get ready to leave the office shortly! Julie: I did the internet dating thing... met several guys, some nice, some jerks, some boring... throw in a heartbreaker.. overall I had fun, but after one gave my computer a virus (via IM) I was done! He was an I.T. guy and his job was to test firewalls...... go figure.. ANYWAY I was logging in to cancel my account and I had a HILARIOUS message from DBF..... it made me laugh and he posted no pic so I basically replied back saying thanks for the laugh dude but you have no pic and I'm cancelling anyway... (he was on and quickly emailed back, I gave him my email addrress...... and that was two years ago) Our commonalities are Riding Motorcycles and Raising Kids...... The riding was the first BIG common interest and the morales and ethics of raising kids came later...... I would say don't give up... and GOOD LUCK!

I've always had big arms.......... they are HORRIBLE now.. after losing and regaining weight so many times.... I think one day I will have the ps even WITH the scars... sometimes I can't wear a top because my arms won't fit.... I've always heard that genetics play a big part of your arm flab after a big weight loss.

Whooooooooooooohooooooooooooo!!!!!!

Geesh.. its already 2:30 p.m. and I'm making my first post of the day! I am so tired........... my sis and my mom loaded my english friend up with all kinds of stuff............ She was so overwhelmed.. this morning she was just giddy as she entered my office. Among the booty she procured was a Bicycle, Lamps, 2 (really nice) wingback chairs (that also recline) small TV, boxes and boxes of kitchen STUFF...... from siliverware to tupperware..... even a mini george forman grill and a huge crockpot! We are going back this weekend to pick up a dresser and chest of drawers....... My sister ended up dumping the seats out of her van and hauled the big stuff and me in my truck filled with the bike and boxes..... Dbf can't understand why I've taken this woman under my wing.. he teasingly asked if I was in love with her or something...... kind of ticked me off.. but he is not a person that does things for people outside the family... truthfully I can't explain it either. 1st, the DON turned her away for a C.N.A. job and that pissed me off because she is WAY over qualified for the job, especially when the last 5 she has hired were less qualified and already are having a hard time showing up for the 3 days a week they are required to work, while *English* has walked to work and not missed a day or been late ONCE. 2nd..... She could take the easy way out and go back across the pond, but yet she is fighting to stay here because she loves it and wants to buy her own home and have a "proper" english garden. 3rd...... She has already told me that she plans to give any extra *stuff* away to her neighbor who is a single mom that now has cancer and worse off than she........ 4th.... She has overcome her level of deafness and thrives in spite of it, and even met Princess Dianna one year at a Gala (Something about she was recognized as a deaf business owner) She said that Dianna told her. "You speak very well for being deaf." She was at the Royal wedding and Dianna's funeral....... (She is very interesting to talk to) At any rate, no matter what happens with her employment here.. I will know that she at least has some "STUFF" that is soley hers. Afterall.. a girl needs her STUFF!

OK VIOLETS......... I will not be walking tonight BUT...... I will be doing something..... remember the lady I helped to get a job here a couple weeks ago... Well, we were able to make her permenant and I did her orientation today (Benefits Junk) at the end when I had dismissed the other new hire, she started opening up to me about her story and how she came to be in Leavenworth and why she is fighting to stay in the US.... (its very interesting) I then asked her on a personal level if she needed anything at home...... (she is a very good lip reader, but the translation sometimes gets whacky without tones, so when she realized what I was asking she got all teary and said OH MY YES, everything... it was a short list of what she actually has... things like borrowed camping cooking equipment a cast off couch left in an empty apartment, borrow bed........ I looked amazed so she told me that when she moved here she was allowed 10 boxes of belongings (ex was military) short version is that I am picking her up after work tonight and I am taking her to my sisters and my moms to see if they have anything that she could use........ (Sis was getting ready to go to Good Will with an entire van full of stuff including a writing desk that was my grandpa's, bicycles and god knows what else) My mom has a complete storage unit of her late mother in laws belongings that have no home and were waiting for a garage sale....... I myself have an overload of blankets and sheets that I'm going to give her........... The really sad thing is....... this person went with another employee last week out side of town to Kohls and Old Navy........ and the woman was AMAZED she had never been outside of Leavenworth...... IMAGINE coming all the way over here from the UK,and the ONLY US TOWN YOU've seen is LEAVENEWORTH Kansas!~!!!!!!! My sis and mom live outside town (not far) but I'm also taking her to dinner............ It really makes you realize how lucky we are.
