Lap Band: 2006 by Dr. Schweitzer. Surgery weight 320 pounds. Lost well, but still technically obese. Band slipped in 2009.
VSG: 2009 by Dr. Schweitzer. Could not repair slip, too much scar tissue and was revised to VSG. Was told that if VSG wasn't sufficient enough to get to a good weight that we could add a 2nd stage Duodenal Switch. Lost down to 211 pounds, but started to regain slowly. Had motorcycle accident in 2014 that minimized my physical activity and regained more weight.
DS: 9/26/16 by Dr. Greenbaum. Added DS to my current VSG, sleeve was adjusted a little, gall bladder and appendix both removed. Surgery weight 276 pounds.
