lulugirl, that's fine for those who want to drive 2 hours, spend another hours or so getting a fill, driving home 2 hours, plus incidental time . . . for me, it's too much. i'd rather stay in spokane. dr. moise has done about 5 fills (one unfill) for me and it works out brilliantly. best of luck wherever you go, ma'lena

maestrita, i am sorry that you feel so threatened! that is not my intention. by all means, continue to drive to lewiston for your excellent quality of care. for most, dr. moise is a superb physician and believe that she goes above and beyond normal care. it is unfortunate that you had a less than satisfying experience with her but i will ask you to stop demonizing her. my suspicion is that your issue is more about you than her, anyway. this anger, for one thing, is not healthy for you. for another, it it never a good idea to trash someone's reputation in a public forum . . . i wish you continued good health and hope that your drives to lewiston continue to be a source of peace and contentment. all the best, ma'lena

felicia. hi. you can contact dr. moise at 509-747-5242. she charges $250 for the first adjustment and consult. she doesn't do the fluroscopy, but hasn't needed to do that. her office is on the lower south hill at 511 south pine street, suite d. this is a little street between division and cowley, off of 5th and division. i had my surgery with Dr. Ortiz at the end of last august. so far i've lost about 50 lbs. it is hard and quite an adjustment . . . let me know if there is anything i can do to support you. i have a couple of lapband friends, and it helps to talk about stuff--even the gross stuff. you know what i mean! best, ma'lena

i'm sorry you had a bad experience with dr. moise. doesn't sound like her at all she is a superb diagnostician, and often goes out of her way with time and care. i know she often works from 6:30 am until 7 or 8 pm many nights. she is dedicated. i'm glad you are seeing a rheumatologist and hope you get good care. . . good luck with your pain control and keep losing! best, ma'lena

Yes, but you have to take a day off, drive a long time, wait for your appointment, drive back to Spokane--basically and entire day, or most of it. Why not go see Dr. Moise here in Spokane? Yes, she charges more, but you can pop in, get your fill, then go back to work or school.:thumbup: Seems like a fair exchange to me. Ma'lena

Hi, all. Just to let you know, Dr. Vivian Moise is now doing gastric band adjustments. Had one done last week and she got in the first try! Amazing. I'm in the zone, too--able to eat but not too much. Now I no longer have to fret about having fills done locally, especially since Tijuana is out for now, and I don't want to take an entire day to go to Olympia, Lewiston or Auburn for a fill.
