My surgeon told me that could be my "sign" that I am getting full too. I get the hiccups quite often regardless of what I eat. My co-workers told me they wish they would get a sign that they were full because obviously they wouldn't be overweight if they got a sign. LOL!

Last year or the year before one of the behind the scene trainers was arrested for something..can't remember what. I'm hoping that's all it is cuz they tried to bring in a new trainer and it wasn't the same. I LOVE BOB AND JILLIAN!!!! If they were one person that would be awesome....I could look at Bob all day and work out with Jillian! LOL!

I get that too. I've warned my co-workers in case they hear it. They say they can't hear it. I usually get it right before meal time. No biggie....just funny! LOL! -

I'm feeling good. I had my surgery on Monday the 13th and returned to work on Friday the 17th. I felt fine...a little tired, but not sore. I haven't really had any pain. Tomorrow is my 1st appt since my surgery....I'm guessing my staples will be taken out and I'm hoping that isn't too painful.

Yeah, would like to chat with ya on yahoo. my yahoo id is scottishlassywsp. The first couple of days was broth and water. Thursday I did mashed potatoes with broth....mixed to make them soupy....yummy and protein shakes. THen tonight I am eating this refried bean mixture...I think I saw it on this website somewhere....mixed with mashed potatoes. I know I probably won't be able to eat the potatoes long, but I need something more than liquid. Ya know?? Hope you start to feel better. -

LOL....sorry to laugh, but I am just picturing you running to the bathroom. I had my surgery Monday also and was fine til yesterday also. I had a little diarrhea yesterday, but nothing like what you are having. I took some Gas-X and haven't had any other problems. My stomach rumbles a lot, but that is about it. Have you called your dr? Hope you get better. -

I had mine done on the 13th also. I feel nauseous also and when I drink a protein shake I feel like it's never ending. Sleeping is hard for me also. My shoulder hurts....gas or stiffness from the way I sleep????? I wish you all well and I'll be checking in to see how we are all doing????? -

I'm 3 days post-op and I felt everything you all are feeling. Currently I am nauseous a lot, but I know it'll go away. I haven't gotten sick...that is what I am scared of. My husband worried....my mom and dad worried.....I worried. Up until they strapped me on that table I was having second thoughts. Once they gave me the meds to relax I was out til I got into recovery. I am so excited for that day where I can walk without being tired. The first 2 days I slept a lot. I don't know if it's because my body needs the rest after surgery or if it's because I am scared to do too much. I wish you all luck with your surgeries. -
Banded yesterday....July 13th. Doing good so far. A little stiff, but all in all pretty good.:thumbdown:

Hey there. Just seeing how things were going. Just had my surgery yesterday. A little stiff today but I think it's because I slept propped on pillows and I'm a back and side sleeper.
How is the situation with the man??? I hope things are going well. I'll be thinking of ya on the 17th. I got to the hospital at 6, was in surgery at 7:30 and out by 8:20, awake by 9 and home by 11. It went quick. I'm on clear liquids right now but tomorrow i get jello and stuff. I don't actually mind the broth...pretty sad when that is what you look forward to. Well, good luck, take care and keep in touch!!!! -

I have no problems drinking water...thank goodness. I had my surgery yesterday and am a little stiff today because I slept propped up on pillows. I'm a stomach and side sleeper. :thumbdown: My shoulder hurts but other than that and the stiffness I'm good to go. I was nervous/excited too, but I knew once I woke up that I did the right thing. I am so happy that I got this done. I was afraid to let some people know because a lot of them I haven't seen in years and they were shocked that I needed it....that I had gained that much weight, but now that it's done, I can't wait for them to see me when I lose it!!!!! Good luck with your surgery and we are all here for you!!!! -

I hope my day 2 isn't like yours!!! LOL!!!! But try starting your menstrual cycle the day before your surgery! That stinks!!!!! :thumbdown: Cramps were in high gear this morning when I checked in for surgery, but i'm a little over 7 hours preop and feeling good so far!:crying: -

I am 7 hours post op and am doing good so far. A little tender and my mouth is sooooooooo dry!!!!!!! I've been dozing off and on since I got home and am propped up on pillows. Going to post before my laptop dies!!! LOL!!!! My surgery is Monday and I'm exited....and nervous. I've only lost 7 pounds. I'm on low cal diet....I usually do protein shakes during the day and a lean cuisine or ww meal at night. My husband is going to come and wait for me...awwww....just kidding. He is legally blind and can't drive so my sister is taking us there and will pick us up, but my hubby will be there probably listening to his MP3 player or something until it's time to go. Hopefully all will go well.....good luck to those still waiting for surgery and congrats to those who are done with theirs..... July Jewels rock!!!!!!!!!!! :confused: -

I feel ya there. My husband goes to the gym a lot and does the protein shakes all the while telling me he loves me the way I am. I sat him down and told him that I am doing this to get healthy and to be around for our kids...the getting thin is just a plus!!!! Now he says he has to go to the gym so he'll be able to keep up with me...and to beat the crap outta the guys who are going to be after his hot wife. He actually went to my consult with me and asked the dr a lot of questions...not realizing that obesity isn't something you can just work off....some ppl need more help...you and I being two of those ppl. I hope things get better and you can always contact me if you need to vent!!!! Good luck gurl! -

Good luck with all of this. I have Tricare also and I didn't need to lose/gain. I did have to have a psych consult which I didn't mind....it was nice to get a lot of stuff out!!!! :thumbup: I have had no problems (knock on wood) and my surgery is scheduled for July 13th. I hope that you are able to get it all straightened out and get the surgery. -

I have Tricare also. My surgery is July 13th and I can't wait. This is one of the MANY times I have been happy to have Tricare.
