thanks um i dont think i want to tell every one , i told one person close to me and she rubs it in my face every time she losses a pound or twoo she says i lost wieght without that band thingy, so i stoppped tell people, i have came to the conclusion that i am just going to keep it to myself ,

i got my sergery durning school, i dont know most people say they can go back to work but i didnt go back to school for about 9 days, yah i missed 9 days. but im in HS so i dont know might be easier for you, and id get some 1 to hold you book for you cuz i was in pain when i had to pick up my bookbag , i took a bit longer themn most people to heal probley cuz of the diabetes but NO matter what you will be happier when you get your band,

same thing was happing to me the reflux and all, you need to call you doctor and get a small unfill, the doctor might want to give you a total unfill to let you stomach heel a little bit well thats wut my doc did for me a total unfill,

congrads, well be for the sergery they gave me meds to calm down lol i was freaking out my 1st sergery, after word i wook up i was in pain they came to my bed and gave me a shot in my butt like 2 mins i was alot better. they didnt let me go to the bathroom they didnt want me out of bed, they gave me this teddy bear and this little thing i had to breath into, they said to hold the teddy to my tummy and cough, it hurt alot, they said i had to keep doing it , i believe its because you breath so shallow and slow while under and on all the pain meds they give you that you can get bronkitis or <NOBR>ammonia</NOBR> -i cant spell sorry, some people cant sleep on thier sides i had trouble getting in and out of bed so bring pillows it makes it easier to get in and out of bed, i asked the doctor why and she said because the muscles that they did cut through were sore, i didnt want to eat at all, was swollen, gave me lots of Soup and ice cream, they do an upper GI the next day to make sure they did good,placed the band good and make sure the band they put on wasnt to tight, they make you walk the 2nd day, it helps with the gas, from the operation, i brought malox with me to the hospital in case i had to much gas, some else told me to do that and the doctor, tthen the 3rd day you just relax,

i would contune to put triple antibiotic ointment and a bandaid on it the peroxide i'd stop for a little bit, also dont keep the bandaid on it all day, let the cut dry out, infection like wet dark places, so maybe in the morning or b4 you go to bed take the bandaid off clean the cut with soap and water, dry it with a towel and let it dry out for maybe an hour or 2.

yes it dose i put it on one of my old scars on my arm and it has reduced the scar alot.

my doctor said that he has never filled any 1 or herd of any1 that has gotten the full 4cc, im at 1 cc at 1.7 it was to much so i had a total unfill and i am starting over, but i still feel restinction,

you know your right no one told me about the pbing and vomitting and chest pain when food gets stuck, every 1 said they had no problems with it. which i know being banded dont believe it. but i am happy with the band ONCE YOU GET TO YOUR SWEET SPOT YOU'LL BE SO MUCH HAPPIER WITH IT, 7 MORE DAYS YAY

if you read my other thread um i think it was sharing my day, you read how i had a horrible day, i dont know if it somthing the doctor did or wut, but i have been getting this pain located mostly in my back right below my ribs,some times i feel it in my front right below my ribs, always on the left side, some times its there but it s not consistent, im not alarmed but unconfortable probley going to call doctor tommorow, o yah lost anouther pound!!!

i ate a little extra then what my doc wanted me to eat but i think it is really important that the night b4 you have your sergery you drink clear liquids , the whole purpose of the pre op diet is to shrink you insides so it will be easier for your doctor to be able to see your organs (stomach) so try not to go over board, and you should be fine, and do the liquid the night b4 sergery. i lost 4 pound pre op

alright my appiontment at the band doc was at 11:45 am so i got there 20 mon early hoping to get in a little early. no i was taken in at 1145. I see a doctor come in to the room. i have never seen him befor. he said my doctor had an emergency at the hospital and he was going to see me. i feel very confortable at this piont. i told him that i was upstate and while upthere i had a complete unfilll. he said ok so i guess your getting a fill today. 11:50 i get on that flor.. x ray machine. i had no restiction at all. ok so he lays me back on the machine and starts to feel around for my port. he couldn't feel it so he puts a penny were he believes the port is and uses the x ray to see if he was close. he said yah i am a little close. he takes out a needle. tries going for the port. he said nope the needle is to small. so he takes out this long long needle, i start sweting.he puts the needle in. he can't find the port agien. he uses the x ray agien. says it a little to the left of were i got it now...... to make the story much shorter 5 x rays - a broken needle -not to much blood -pain up the ying yang-and a hour later i finally get a fill, the doctor fish around in my stomach for an hour looking for my port, i wanted to say just stop and get anouther doctor but i didnt want to make him feel bad. - still very unconfortable by my port, but i guess it will go away. ok i shared my day at the docs, any one ever go through that

i have had 2 fills = up too 1.7 in a 4cc band. i got a total unfill due to reflux and not able to eat much at all. then today i had the most horrible fill ever (read my thread "share my expeerance") the fill today = up too 1 cc. i saw that i was resticted but i don't feel to restricted.

o my god i am so sorry , i hope your recover gets better. my mom has just had 3 storkes because of blood pressure and diabetes, she was in the hospital for a week, they sent her home on blood thinners and she need to have sergery but she has started to got to therepy and she is doing much better, so hope therepy work for you. i pray!!!!!!!!!!!!

my sister said the same thing take the needle and stab him in the neck.. lol you guys are so bad:p

im very happy you found finally have the restriction you wanted as for lidicane i dont think it would of help at all in my situation, and i feel bad your doctor doesn't use a flor wut ever its called. x ray because then you dont know if your really getting a fill well thats wut some 1 else told me

yah the doctor had that live x ray and he used it.. the last and final try i believe thats the only reason why he got it and he still had trouble doing it. omg i want to cry when i saw he could of used that the whole time, he 1st he took an x ray and then place a penny where he thought it was then he stuck me did this a couple times. then finally when i was about to say lets give up he said lets try this omg i was so pissed he didnt do that from the beging ,

i will rember the 3 time thing i am making it a rule. how will i knkokw if he made a hole in the tubing?

yeppers broke the needle i was scard when he said that he said it broke because it was so long so that made it flimsy. i am just going to go lay down and maybe have some soup. :faint:

well mine is on my left side but i had mine place a bit higher then alot of people because i use a insulin pump and i need to rotaite the insulin site every 3 days around my stomach.
