I started my 10 day pre-op liquid diet today. I am HUNGRY. I keep thinking about eggs. Sure hoping someone has some advice! I am so happy about my surgery though and picturing myself in some new ski pants has gotten me through the first afternoon. I have three children, so staying out of the kitchen is not an option. I won't eat, but I might complain a little.

My pre-op is on the 7th and this has helped a lot!! I can't believe I will be doing this a week from tomorrow. You guys have to keep us updated as you go! Good luck tomorrow!

Ann, only take it one minute at a time. You can get through right now. Don't worry about tomorrow or how long you have to do this. Just do it RIGHT now. (As I type this with a shakiy, non food eating hand):smile: I want that Bandito siggy too... and I should try to post a picture in my avatar... you guys are so techy!! Let me see if I can do it...

Thanks, guys. I am on a liquid protien diet so other that 5-6 Protein drinks a day, I can pnly have Clear liquids for 10 days. Cathy, would that cat be BBQ-ed? LOL That is so funny. This is day two. I survived yesterday and something tells me I will survive this too! :thumbdown: -

Hey guys! I am scheduled for May 11th! This is day two of my liquid diet. I used to be a nice person... I hope I can find this forum again... it is so exciting to be getting close and I have the feeling only you guys are going to understand what I am going through! Have you been picturing the you of next May? It's so exciting!

Hi! This is my first post. I am starting day one of my liquid diet before surgery...so excited. I am trying to keep in mind that eventually everyone is going to find out. Some person will spill the beans and I don't want to look more foolish later. I am careful to not talk about it with anyone who may have an opinion because I have made my choice and am not interested. Our endeavor is SO personal, it's a fine line to walk!
