I not buying any Halloween candy this year but will help pass out candy maybe at a friends house or go to a movie or something. The leftovers are dangerous so I plan to take them to the work community table Nov 1st. What are your plans to combat Halloween treats?

My first craving since surgery saw a gigantic pic of a hot dog at the gas station. Tried to picture myself eating it and getting ill. -
Thanks!

Thank you for checking on me. Back to work tomorrow. Still walking and now eating soft foods. I took a lot of naps too. Tracking on my fitness pal has kept me more accountable. I can eat so little portions they are not a real issue yet, but u are right about measuring from the beginning. I am having to change my ppi, had reflux before surgery. That's been a little difficult. Down 46 since pre op and 28 in the last two weeks since surgery.

I am going to try Prilosec in am instead of Prevacid and adding Zantac later on in the day. Thinking that Probiotics may help too. Took a Zantac this pm.

1 (28 oz) can of low sodium stewed tomatoes 1 (28 oz) can of low sodium vegetarian refried Beans 1 (15 oz) can of low sodium whole kernal corn, drain and rinsed (you may need to omit this, if unable to tolerate) 1 (15 oz) of low sodium green beans 1 (24.5 oz) can of low sodium vegetable broth 1 tablespoon dried oregano 1 tablespoon garlic powder pepper to taste 1 teaspoon dried basil 1 tablespoon dried parsley 2 tablespoons dried minced onion Directions: Puree strewed tomatoes in an electric blender or mixer. Place pureed tomatoes, refried beans, corn, green beans and vegetable broth in a large pot. Cook over medium heat. Refried beans and tomatoes will cook down and provide a Soup base. Stir occasionally to prevent stickiness. Add Water as needed to prevent over-thickening. Add spices and continue to cook until soup is heated through and just boiling. ******** Found this in my bariatric manual provided by my surgeon coordinator. Looks really good for fall and wanted to share. Enjoy, Chad

I am at week three just eating until I am full and stop. Not measuring it all yet. Better to use a measuring cup or kitchen scale? Don't have one yet.

Flintstone chewable with iron and calcium gummies. Still taking B12 shots but will need to start pills when done. Had to add fiber this week for regularity. -
This is my first Saturday weigh in. Surgery was 10/08. Today's weight 275. Down 27 since surgery, 43 pounds since pre op diet. We're on the way!

Two weeks out now and Water still a little rough on the stomach. Does it get easier to tolerate? How far long where you? So far crystal lite is too sweet for me. Gives me a headache. Miss loving plain H2O.
