I'm going thru Kaiser and they have a 1200 cal pre op diet we are all suppose to follow - full of carbs! I stuck to it diligently for 2 weeks and gained 4lbs - what the heck is that all about. so my surgeon told me to cut out all the carbs - no milk, no fruit - nada! anyway, I've lost 34lbs since 6/1 doing low carb. Good luck!

Jes, my appt is 8/31. gonna have a little chit chat with Dr. fisher - sucks that there's nobody on here that has had surgery with him so I have no idea how he does - incision wise. he may not make small incisions, he may not try to hide the top one under a boobie - all things I need to make him aware of LOL. When is your appt?

You guys are so so so funny - either that or you're tryin to humor me like the fed ex man LOL the smallest I ever got to was 163 and that was for about 30 seconds then right back to 170. Nicole, the pic in the sand I was about 170/175 size 14. that suit is the same one XL. It came with matching shorts yeah! don't have it anymore - I have the best one piece - size 18 - never wore it cuz still too big for swim suit. It looks alot like the one I've attached but it's red & white and the front is ALOT wider covers more of the tummy. When i get small enough I will get this one in a smaller size. Can't wait to see you all on the band size - skinny world, here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, tina, my brother is 5 1/2 years older than me so he use to tote me around - take me roller skating with him & his friends - things like that - anyway, they all use to call me "Little Louie" SUCKED!!!!

I'm here now tamra - I went to kaiser this morning to do my last set of labs. I have one more test - preg!nancy test - but can't do that dill the first week of september. what sense does that make - they know I'm on depo and even schedules my surgery around my shot - Hmmmm? I also picked up my new prescription for wellbutrin - the non SR kind. I'm gonna go pick up some more vitamins today - I'm out of chewables! I'm gonna see if the doc can move the incison from between the boobies to just under one of my boobies - I think that's the scar that bothers my hubby the most. I think if I can "eliminate" that one he will get over the rest! thamks Pam for giving me one more issue to worry about LOL. Tina - got your pic comment - I was so not tiny there I was a size 14, about 170lb - that suit is an XL. My husband was angry because I had him in the hot sun, swimming no doubt. black men dont swim LOL seriously, the sun was in his eyes. Try to have a good day at work Morning maria.

Oh, Riley - how i understand the mindless eating! but Calcium Vitamins - ooh wee! Lookin at my fam makes me want to eat too LOL. Heather - I haven't exercised in about 5 days - no motivation - it all starts with a migraine. the pills make me so flippin drowsy that It takes all I can muster just to mosey on down the road to starbucks. that little walk is about the extent of it. its about 3 blocks LOL. but at least it's up hill all the way back. I had roasted veggies when I got back from shopping with bridezilla (she's not that bad), once again, my damn brother decided to cook! I really gotta get rid of him! they were roasted in olive oil & garlic - sun dried tomatoes, brussel sprouts, shrooms, broccoli and asparagus. Damn him! Isnt it a sin to disobey a commandment? Thou shal not cheat! I'm going to haties. I feel like I'm in bandster hell and Im not even banded yet. I HAVE TO GET BACK TO BASICS! Having issues - that may be part of the stress. My husband really doesnt like the idea of 5 scars on my tummy. why oh why doesn't kaiser do the single incision procedure yet - life would be ease for me then! Any chance that they are barely noticeable after a couple of years?

Chris, I did have a couple florettes of cauliflower but thats it. Dr. Fisher said to cut out all the carbs and liz said that doesn't mean I can substitute it with anything else so that leaves me with protein (salmon) & veggies (cauliflower)
