goodness, I can't remember the info on the walk - lemme go back and find it and I will let you know what I think about the weather and if i can make it. I'm usually always free so it shoudn't be a problem. Again, so happy for you that you are losing weight again and even more excited that your spirits are lifted. I do recall you saying how upset you were about that plateau and it was a long time!!

Jes, glad you feel good too. It's great to know we did it and the worst is over! Nicole - I totally agree that jess probably ate way less in calories then I did but i just can not stomech anything warm or hot right now. It's so weird! the soup I made the other day was yummy but I couldn't eat more than 2 bites - it feeling warm was so so so yucky. so the shake has 160 cals and I only drank 1/2 so I've had 80 cals, plus 1 sugar free popsicle (don't know the cals) and water today - that's about all I can stand. For the first time in my life my head is telling me I'm completely full when I know my tummy isn't but my head is winning - as usual LOL. Have fun at the gym!

Busy day today ladies - it feels go to feel normal LOL. I made a 3 tier champagne cake, a carrot cake and red velvet cake today. Donna did call me and chastised me already but it is important to know that I didn't lift anything - my husband assisted! Now my step daughter is in there decorating! so I need to know if Im truly normal or not.... I have absolutely no desire to eat! My tummy is growling on occasion but still, my mouth is tellin my tummy to screw off. I can eat but i don't feel into it at all. Just want to drink water all day. I did have a protein shake this morning - actually I drank 1/2 of it and it took about 3 hours for me to do so. Id take a sip, set it down then forget about it, then sip, set it down & forget about it. Drinking my water though and I had a popsicle today too but that's it. I thought they only fixed the plumbing but it appears that that 6th incision was for my electrical too. Pammie - I will admit that when you were talking about your lunch it sounded yummy and for a split second I wanted a bite LOL. Tina I'm doing great. thanks for asking. It's like I'm waiting for the bomb to drop because i shouldn't feel this good - like I'm going to have deferred pain next week haha. Hope things work out for you~ Maria - yes, the rash is still there but I didn't bother to call my PCP - I think it was the soap too cuz it hasnt spread or gotten any worse. I started putting cream on it today and making sure I rinse it periodically with water. If anything changes I'll contact my PCP but I dont feel like going to see him right now.

Tamra, Yes you are suppose to bring your binder but she never asked to see it. I had Dr. Snurr - she was cool. The first thing she said to me though was "you're not typical of the people I normally see here" Hmmmm? Was a little offended like she was saying I was odd or something. anyway, just questions - I recall her asking me who the president was and if I knew where I was and if I ever made mysefl throw up after a meal and if I over eat at a meal how do I react to that. Basic stuff to make sure you are of sound mind & body. Lasted about 15 minutes. No big deal. Congrats on being so darn close!! i will have that info for you by tomorrow.

So stick with us like a 12 step program LOL. DON'T START THE 1200 CALORIE DIET UNTIL AFTER ORIENTATION AND WEIGH AS MUCH AS YOU CAN THAT MORNING! DRINK LOTS OF WATER BEFORE YOU GO IN AND WEAR ALL YOUR HEAVY CLOTHES & SHOES. Break a leg!!

Cute dress so when you're down to a 6 I got dibbs on it! Yes, some of us (me & Jes) are finally banded - just this week! so thanks for noticing. Maybe you can PM our LaChica (Analynn) as she has decided to go RNY - you'd be able to give her some better support and all the ins and outs!! keep up the good work and keep us updated!!!!

I had water for dinner - like I said, all of a sudden I feel this pressure in the center of my boobs and about an inch down - don't want to eat or drink anything! i think I'm loving this band thing already LOL.. Hopefully, when I weigh myself in the morning I'll be smaller than 197

Hey Donna! It's liquid soap. funny cuz my brother and husband both use bar soap and they have their own individual soaps in travel containers in the shower. I only use Dove soft soap (liquid) because it's the gentlest on my skin, I can only use dove deoderant too or I get lumps under my arms - I'm just so weird. Jes, it is swollen, I can feel it - the whole upper section is but you're right, not bloated or full of gas - seriously, NO GAS. Are you sure you passed the pregnancy test LOL I do look like I've been assasinated though hahahaha

Funny you should ask, Nicole, cuz I have no idea. Just what I was told when I was little so it just always "was". Because I've had it as long as I can remember, I assume you are born with it. My father use to get many blood transfusions for it - I never have. never will! So, for me, this doesn't really look bad. That is until I see somebody elses LOL

Honestly, I think once the bruising goes away and the extra blood is cleaned off - and I have stitches so when those are gone it will look alot better. Hard to really see cuz my boobs are in the way but that's my rationalization anyway.

I don't know what he was thinkin with the 6 but I'm not in any real pain so I'm not trippin. The way I started to look at this is i can't wear a Bakini now so what's the difference - and if I lost the weight without the band I'd still have a lot of extra skin and couldn't wear a bakini then either so it is what it is - monokini, here I come!

    Kaiser Richmond Pre-op

Damn you're quick Nicole - Yeah, I bruise very easily~ I have thalesemia - It's a type of anemia common in mediterranian (italian) people. Iron doesn't help. My father had it and so did my Nonna (grandmother) obviously it's hereditary. So I bleed and bruise twice as much as the average person

I think I'm gonna be sick! I just got a picture up on my profile and jes, your scars are 100 times better than mine~ My husband lied to me! There is a lot of blood & bruising but thats really normal for me. I bruise very easily. I really don't know Nicole - Doc Fisher told me 6 from the very beginning - just his way I guess. I said I thought there was suppose to be 5 and he said nope, he does 6. I think i'm pleased with the port incision, can't tell from the photo but it's a really thin line so it should heal that way. Honestly, I wish I hadn't taken that pic cuz the site of that crap really does nauseate me! Somethings wrong with me LOL

    Kaiser Richmond Pre-op

Girl, they look fine! at least you only have 4 and they are spread out - they're just swollen! I got 6 and mostly in a cluster dead center and i look like I've been assasinated! I'll try to get a photo up real quick
  22. Desperate1

    Kaiser Richmond Pre-op

I can't really see my scars - It's hard to tell in the mirror cuz they are really bruiesd and got the glue stuff over them - not to mention that I think I'd faint if I saw them on myself but my husband says they are cool.

probably the perfume in the darn soap - Ugh! Jes, I should probably mention though, that I still can't really bend over so still no panties LOL.. Just dresses - easy to pee!

I showered today - but was worried about soap getting in the incisions or the water hurting as it hit so i kept my back to the shower and let the water run over my shoulders down my tummy hahaha. That's how the port feels, like it's gonna bust op en. Just keep in mind it's the muscle that it's sewn into that hurts - just the muscle! tomorrow i'm gonna call you and make you laugh like you did to me LOL. Seriously, it gets a little better each day from here on out. I felt stiff this morning but as soon as I got up and moving i felt ok. I find that the tylenol and/or the lortab don't make any difference - just that the lortab makes me queezie so I only took each of them once.
