Hi All - my internet has been messing with me the past few day - on for a minute then right back off! UGH! I unplugged EVERYTHING this time and sequnced it back on after leaving it off for 15 minutes so it better stay on now! Jes, I got confused... My PCP isn't until friday - robin is today - sitting by the phone waiting for her to call to tell me to do what I've already done LOL. I had two scrambled eggs this morning with some cheese & peppers. gotta get some veggies in! Now I'm having coffee cuz I'm cold. down to 192 this morning - I can't believe not only am I out of the 200 club but damn near out of the 190's - it has been YEARS!!!! pulled out some old jeans - well new cus I only wore them once or twice before I couldn't pull them up anymore - and not only do they fit - they are a little lose in th waist - size 16 jr. Anyway - if it wasn't for this damn port and the SIX holes in my stomech I would have to ask - what band? I think they just installed the port and forgot the band. So one of my incisions had a scab over it - somethime in the night the scab came off and now it is stinging. NICOLE - GET OUT NOW. Once it gets physical, it doesn't stop. I watched my father beat the crap outta my mother for years - YEARS. black eyes, bruises all over her body - as the child of a dysfunctional family I say it's all about Auds and do what is best for her. I can't believe he's so messed up that he'd put his daughter in the mix. He needs to get some help ASAP or he's gonna lose his daughter forever - does he get that? I'm so so so sorry you have to go thru all this - we're here for you - should we come lynch Mike for you? Tina - you may need to make a Cameo at Nicole's house! Lemme know if you need back up - Pammie will have your back and Ill have your way back LOL. Hungry

Guess this is what they mean by bandster hell LOL. I'm gonna go back to my 4 small meals of protein a day regardless of what robin says until I see the DOC. 1/2 cup of anything "sliderish" just goes right thru so it will not hold for 4 or 5 hours like the egg salad does.... I think she's more of a 1 size fits all type of dietician because she has those guidelines she has to follow but it's not working for me. Doc Fisher said I didn't have to follow that 1200 cal program so I assume I don't have to follow her other programs LOL

LaChica - she is tellin you "yes - it's an option (if you want it) so on your next appointment just be sure to confirm that the band is what you want. Robin is suppose to call me tomorrow - I go see my PCP tomorrow too for my 2 week thing. I rescheduled with Doc Fisher for the 21st of October so it will be a whole month before I get any type of fluid in this empty ass band LOL. I had chicken salad today (oops) not pureed but very finely shredded and it went straight thru to the bottom of my stomech. I had 1/2c of that for lunch and a 1/2c egg salad for breakfast - been sipping on my americano all day too. not starving but i chalk that up to eating only protein and not carbs but still would like to feel full or at least satisfied!! Back to pre op rules LOL

Jes, that's where I've been for a few days. Your body wants nutrients and since the greens are gone and whatever it was has cleared up - your body is feeling better and ready for some real food. I didn't puree the egg salad, i smashed it up real well with the may but there were little chunks so I felt like i was eating real food LOL. start slow and chew well, just in case.

Pammie, you saw how flippin white my legs were yesterday! They have tinted lotions if you're interested. Flaunt it girlie. Ok, Heather! you look better in that dress than I ever did! I know its frustrating to wait but either way, you're dieting and losing weight so it is what it is... Hey Pat... I couldn't follow the 1200 cal diet at all! Doc Fisher told me to cut out the carbs! So all I ate was the protein, fat & some green leafy veggies. Have protein style burgers - make your own chilli - I cook up some ground surloin pour in some ro-tel & chlli powder and sprinke cheese on top - 1/2 c and you will stay fuller longer on just proteins! Egg salad for breakfast... tuna or chicken salad for lunch Heather - wedding sounds like it was fun. Can't wait to see those pics!

I requested that from my surgeon but he doesn't do it that way and instead of the standard 5 incisions, i got 6!! I would ask him how much more difficult is it for him to do it that way. It is surgery, risky either way, so find out his confidence level and more importantly, how many has he done and how may were successful! good luck

Hey Hey Hey, Just checkin in. Tina, I thought about just bustin up in Kaiser but Jes didn't have her phone on her an dI don't have either yours or jane's phone numbers! What day is the 29th on? Heather Ii would love to walk with you but I'm not available on Thursdays till after 2:30 and you'll be long gone by then - Tuesdays and Fridays are my free/off days. Maria - Just be sure to stay all the way away from carbs from now till then - remember, the case manager appt isn't the end. You still have to be under goal on surgery morning. The more you lose, the more room you have to play with for a few "last suppers" right before surgery, if you know what I mean - i had gained back almost 2lbs in 1 week! Still under goal though - yee ha! I'm having a very hard time with these food choices too. Lucky for me, I'm ok with grits - and I got reiley! So now I have whatever i want and thin it out to straw capacity - like hummas - just add water LOL That's what i had for dinner tonight and stopped at 1/2c - wasn't satisfied till about 20 minutes later - thin it hit and I felt full but no uncomfortably full this time - just got back from a quick sprint to starbucs for my Americano, decaf of course. silly me, got a venti (old habbits die hard) and had about 5 sips and I'm done!
