Riley - I LOVE THAT YOU (POST OP PRO) STAY HERE WITH US! I truly wouldn't have made it this far or even had the surgery if it wasn't for all the help I got on here. I would have chickened out if it wasn't for all the great things I learned here and the reassurance that it would all be ok.

Maria - when Jes & I were just out of surgery we had the french onion soup with no bread (i know you don't like it but...) we also split a plat of mashed potates - you can have that just mix a little extra butter in it to thin it out. I was eating mashed potatoes on my full creams early! They do have plenty of other soups there and you can just ask them to throw it in the blender for you!

Donna you are the best... Will you be there Saturday? Maria - hang in girlfriend - I recall the first time I ate mushies I had so very little and felt stuffed for about 7 hours! Oh, what I wouldn't give to have that back again LOL. So I got this crazy Body Magic girdle thingy for the wedding and was told that you have to wear it 6 hours the first time you put it on so that it can mold to your body - They stuck me in a size 32 inch - hooked it all the way on the tightest one so now they want me in a 30 inch - crazy cuz this thing is so snug I don't want to eat anything! I love it though - flattens out all my lumps & bumps - probably will never take it off and will have to buy a new one by the time the wedding rolls around - I hear they have red ones for the christmas season Hmmm... feelin daring enough to get sexy in red! Man, my tummy has NEVER looked FLAT like this before - think I'll wear it Saturday so you all can see! Jes, Don't you love yours! So, what's going on with everybody.... Who will be at group on Saturday - I'm so looking forward to it - no wight loss since last month - only weight gain but I did lose 1/2lb when I weight this morning - I hope to be heading back in the right direction. I got a handle on my snacking - at least for the last two days! Back to No Carbs - will have a very small amount tomorrow for T-Day - Turkey and stuffing will be no carbs - well a little from the celery & onions in the stuffing but good carbs - NO BREAD IN IT. Also will have cauliflower mash (my fave) & will make my own cranberry sauce with fresh berries - wont the rest of may family be jealous when they are eating all the high carb grub! LOL LOL

Now Im scared - Monique - did you say The Doc requires you to lose weight before a fill... oops, going in the wrong direction so I better buckle down! Howdy all... Riley, thanks for posting the graph and pointing out that I'm not the only one that has ever gone in the wrong direction... Love the hot red pants idea for christmas - maybe I can fit them next year LOL Tamra - my niece would love a coach bag... where do you have them posted? Congrats on your success - 2lbs today is not big deal because it will be off tomorrow! Pat you are so close girlie - yeah!! Maria - I ate alot of cauliflower garlic mash with & drank protein shots. I love my cauliflower mash - ooh and you can put a little cheese in it and microwave it for a second so it melts - Ok, off to buy some cauliflower - FYI: I buy the frozen bags and keep them around for just such an emergency! My neighbors made me alot of chicken & veggie soups that I pureed - it was yummy, made from scratch - Maria is her name too. I was hungry at all during the first 3 weeks, just don't like pureed foods :biggrin: Captain Mo - congrats on the food intake during the party - I have such a hard time in those scenes - if there is food just laying around I want it desperately! Pammie - I tried to call kaiser but just keep getting pushed around - I'm waiting for a call back now from somebody who they say can actually help me. My problem, it seems, is my mouth! My head says no! My tummy says no! Truly, I'm not very hungry but my mouth is rediculous! Just wants to taste something warm and chewy - weird??? So, what is it about broccoli that the band doesn't like cuz I hafta tell you - my mouth loves it! but it is the only thing that ever comes back up unless I cook the hell out of it and make it mush but then my mouth doesn't like it.... Woe is me! I did ok these last couple of days on the food - no popcorn LOL but last night I did have a small square of SF dark chocolate - just 1 - but boy was it tasty! Riley - I thought of you last night - my friend just found out her new husband (the one that ran over the old husband) is diabitic - She's throwing away all her old cookbooks and looking for new ones LOL. She's going to get their 2 year old tested now - the grandma has it too. Does your son eat a low carb diet? Somebody out there knows I'm fat because I keep getting these crazy emails - lose 100lbs in 10 minutes type a crap! It's starting to really bug me! Nicollie - did I see your ticker correctly??? 17.6lbs down already - dang girl! You just may be as lucky as Heather Heather... How are you feeling? My right eye is throbbing - been that way for a few days now - just about ready to hit up kaiser for some narcotic injection if it doesn't quit soon. Jewel, having a good time? Ash.... Not sure where you're getting your statistics my love but I don't think they are accurate. Please double check with your doctor before you make any concrete decisions. I heard the complications with band are rare and of all the 3 surgeries it is the safest (statistically) - according to Kaiser Richmond. The band wasn't being done in Richmond when I was starting out. It wasn't offered to me so I didn't do any research on it.

Thanks for the info lee! I will look into it - I don't have Tivo but I have a DVR so should be about the same. Riley you're the bomb! I'm just not feeling like myself and I hope you're right - estrogen! Since it has been so cold lately I have slacked off on my big jugs of water - will buy one tomorrow! I've seen your tummy - what rolls?? I'm being fitted for a body magic contraption on Tuesday! I may have to break down and tell my bridezilla that I got banded - wedding not till July and I plan on being thin by then - i know it's going slow now but I have only 2-3cc in my band and don't feel it at all so hopefully I will get my first fill next month and will start to lose! I just don't want to spend 150+ tax on a girdle for this wedding just to have to buy a smaller one later - 300.00 in underwear is rediculous! Side note - still no luck on the strapless bra! Ash, as if you could forget your appointment! Heather - how are you feeling? any better? My poor husband is so sick he can't breathe out of his nose at all - sucks to be me in the middle of the night right now LOL Ok, off to dream of the day starbucks starts to sere my vodka valium lattes!

Pammie, you obviously have never noticed my purses LOL They are huge! I figure if the centry theater can't provide a healthy choice then I'll will provide my own. Congrats Jane! I'm really happy for you ... wow, lap band, eye lift, boob jobs, tummy tucks - what's not to love about Kaiser. I got a response from my PCP about therapy and he told me to call the psych dept myself - I thought i had to be referred - anyway, by the time I got it it was too late so I'll have to call Monday I'm getting real scared - for some reason I can't stop eating - not hungry, not upset but my mouth won't stop - this is worse than before I ever got banded. I've been pacing the last hour so that I don't eat anymore because I'm actually full but my mouth has such a strong desire to eat still. I am going back on my wellbutrin SR - The Doc said the SR was ok to take even after the band and the regular ones aren't helping - back to getting headaches almost every day and I think it really was helping me with my appetite before so I pick them up tomorrow. Anybody else get this horrible compulsion to over eat after the band? Truly, It is making me real nervous. I was also told I need to find an exercise I enjoy because this running/walking thing is really not fun and making me stress out - so bad that I haven't hit the treadmill in 5 days! So I'm thinking dancing - trying to find something in Vallejo - Zumba is only on thursdays and I need something at least 4 days per week - anybody ever ball room dance or belly dance - hoola sounds like fun but not very "active" so to speak - it moves slow doesn't it? I need a good workout - open for suggestions? Riley - I am so proud of you for all the work you put into this and the exercising you do. I wish I had your mindset - I truly do - and hope that this therapy will help me change. I literally cried when my husband tried to make me run this morning - maybe the headache/pain pills or lack of wellbutrin. who knows but totally not normal for me to be such a baby. I feel so outta control today - been this way for the last 3 days - grrr! kaiser to lobotomies?

Just got home from the movies - again... Really wanted to see the new moon - I'm not real happy with Bella's behavior and that's all I'm gonna say! I was surprised to see Dakota Fanning in it though.... She's growing up for real. NO POPCORN! yeah! Instead, we went at lunch time and smuggled in our own stuff - I brought in a grilled chicken salad for me - burger & fries for him. & coffees. Maria - Pammie is so much more brave than I was. I couldn't even think of laying on my left side for a month & a half! I didn't have to toot at all nor did I feel hungry at all for the first 3 weeks - lost 12lbs & gained 3 back grrr! probably more in the past few days cuz I've been bad - but today is the day i am back on track! I really don't want to hear any crap from The Doc next month so I need to be down 10lbs! Im enjoying the rain today. Only problem is it just makes me lazy - I want to lay in bed all day and EAT. I ordered my ID card.. Did I already say that earlier? they said 10 - 15 days. We will see.

Liz - I'm having a hard time with that one. My husband is a snacker - never really eats a full meal! anyway - I keep telling him NO POPCORN at the movies but he gets it anyway-For some reason I can NOT resist the popcorn. Like I said, I just emailed my PCP - I need therapy! I find that the people who don't know about the band don't hinder me. I simply say no thanks and that's that.

Analynn - I txt you this morning but somebody has your phone number and it isn't you :bored: You get a new phone ? Reggie, PM me your number, I don't have it! I can't stop eating - i really need a fill. But I know The Doc isn't trying to hear it right now - not till 12/15. I went & saw 2012 last night - it was ok... BUT, i ate the popcorn! I just emailed my PCP - need a referral for counseling ASAP

Hey Maria - good to hear from you - No Chonies is always a great idea! Riley, thanks for the band info - I also agree about the late nite vodka valium latte - it would greatly imporve my life!!! Hahaha Tina - what good is a quick response when it doesn't answer/say anything. I wish I was going with you to disney land! Heather - feel better and please take this time to rest and not exercise. I don't think it's good for you to work out when your body is trying to heal itself! Go Tamra - wish I was down - Monique - I get so cranky when I have a migraine and I don't want to have to "think" so for dinner last night I ate my husbands whole box of chocolate covered peanuts - why is it that I'm not losing any weight - hmmm? Hi Patty - I so can't wait to meet you in person! Lee - sorry I didn't make the meeting yesterday but, again, it was my 14th wedding anniversary, I had a migraine and had to still act like I was in love with my husband - way too much to deal with in one night - the meeting would have put me over the edge! My hubby is so good to me though... even though he's sick (real sick) he gave me his goobers :confused: If that isn't the best anniversary gift ever I don't know what is - that's love!

Good for you Maria! Inquiring minds wanna know if you were able to get your panties on after surgery hahaha - I tried to get my husband to smuggle the chair out while I was in surgery. You're funny Ash- You can take the test at your liesure as it is an open binder test - you just have to have it done for Liz at your case manager appt. You don't have that appt until you've reached surgery goal. They just want to be sure you have the basics on the do's and don'ts. So, it's 7:00, it's my 14th wedding anniversary and i'm going to bed ALONE! My head is throbbing and I can't take it anymore - i need a cafe mocha vodka valium latte! Sweet dreams my lucious booty sisters and brother
