I had pureed chicken & rice soup - before I was even aloud to have mushies! It should be fine as long as it is pureed. liquid can't really get stuck. Enjoy it! -

Riley - I got my cookbook from Jes - I love it! What about a fiber cereal - let it sit in some skim milk to get soft - you could probably even warm it up some! I bet that would be a great mushie - why didn't I think of that before!!!! -

Hey all - I should stay away from this site before I get a sore sick and a throat LOL Tina - so glad you got a fill! I hope i get one on the 15th - not doing so well in the weight loss dept! Reggie - good to hear from you - try to check in more often - missin you girlie! Maria - I never did much mushies but what I did eat was alot of mashed cauliflower - I used a little sour cream to mushie it or whipping cream - you could even use some plain yogurt - whatever works for you. Talapia is a good one because it is so soft already you don't even really need to musshie it up - just chew, chew & chew! -

Tamra - I lost my job a year ago LOL - Actually, I've been on disabilty and was told that I was cleared till Feb 1, 2010 but then, instead of getting my regular check they sent me packing and said that my time is up and I have exhausted my benefits so i had to apply for unemployment because my old job is still "unavailable" and my benefits are thru my husbands union so I'm good there - thank God for small favors! Pat - I use to go to the San Rafael Kaiser but it was horrible - my doctor basically told me there was nothing wrong with me - that my migraines weren't real and that my "fatigue" was common and to get over it as 1/2 of americans are "fatigued" - When I told him my last 3 fingers turn white and go numb when it's real cold out he told me to put gloves on - jerk - My fatigue is due to my sleep apnea and still don't know why my fingers do what they do - in any event he wasn't the first person there that rubbed me the wrong way so I finally switched to Vallejo and have had nothing but kind hearted people to deal with. My PCP just told me to call them directly since i'm already in the psych system but I will do the google search - good info! thanks! -

I love my ground turkey. got lots a real turkey from thanksgiving in the freezer so since I'm only eating small portions it lasts quite some time! I do have a savings account we will be fine I'm just not going to blow it on x-mas and having nothing left in case I need it for food or mortgage - it's all good! Whis is it so much more expensive to eat healthy? Gotta learn to grow my own veggies! Maybe we should get a lap band compound going and we all move in and live off the land -

Liz - I'm so sorry this is all happening right now but it will all work itself out. You are doing the best thing you can by working out and eating right and this will all pay off in the end. I so wish I had the workout bug - I'm sure my spirits will be back on top and I will be ready to rock once I restart my wellbutrin - TODAY is the day for us to rock on! -

Riley Wellbutrin never made me lose weight but always kept me frm getting cranky. i switched from the sr version to the regular ones and it appears to be a different generic brand. just not working the same. my headaches are even real frequent again. Doc Fisher said it was fine to go back to the SR ones. They are at the pharmacy waiting for me but I was just waiting for $. Got some now so I'm gonna pick them up today. Did i mention that i'm officially poor now - got Suave shampoo, conditioner & St. Ives face wash - all for about 10 bucks - bargain!! Afraid to see my PG&E bill though... Been so cold we've had the heater on!! -

good morning Maria. I went thru the same thing. sneezing was the worst thing in the world. i'd grab my port & hold on for dear life LOL. my problem with sleeping was because i sleep on my left side & tummy so i kept rolling over on it in my sleep and it would wake me up. Now its no big deal. i dont feel it at all when im laying down or standing up. its when im sitting for a long time or bend a certain way that it hurts a tad. my rib cage hits it. -

Happy B-Day Tamra - you are forgiven on for the slip up :w00t: I had a handful of almonds - I never thought my almonds would be a bigger issue than my chocolate but it is! They are just so handy. OK - so another lesson learned! Tonight I went to a girlfriends house and her ignorant husband pushed me way pased cranky straight to angry so I just walked out! came home and then tried to eat my dinner! two bites of my canned chicken later I was so done - my chest hurt and I knew that if I didn't stop I would be in trouble - so bandsters in hell - just get angry and that thing will kick right in! yee ha! Thanks Riley!! I don't know whats wrong with me - I've just been a little sensative lately - I really need to get my wellbutrin hahahaha - I will pick it up tomorrow! -

For the record... I would also like to say that my Ex-best friend is still single and never responded to any of my b-day cards or xmas cards - told everybody that she hates my husband and as long as I'm still married to him she won't be my friend! JEALOUSY REARS IT'S UGLY HEAD! -

Guess it's time to put my two cents worth in here... First off I want to start by saying That I really like you BOTH! and that I want you BOTH to remain in this group! That being said.. Since you both ARE in this group maybe the issues between you two should stay between you two simply because I don't want it to get weird on here - and it is an uncomfortable situation since we know and care about you both. I, for one, don't want to hear anything negative about either of you from either of you! (love you guys!) As adults there is no reason why you two can't co-exist on here. Besides, true friends should be able to endure anything (short of an affair with the other's spouse!LOL) My best friend in high school and the maid of honor in my wedding hasn't spoken to me in 15 years! simply because I got married and felt that my husband and home should come first - before the bars & clubs and hangin with the homies - guess she didn't love me as much as I loved her - She couldn't understand why she wasn't the center of my attention anymore and didn't love me enough to set me free to be happy - She wanted 100% of my time and basically it was all or nothing and all I asked of her was a little time to get my new marriage and home running smoothly - And her response to that was that I was no longer a part of her family because I didn't have enough time for her! RAMBLING... My point being is that I believe you two are better than that and will overcome this issue - pure hearts! Hope I didn't offend either of you but, again, I have to agree that this thread isn't the place for you two to do your back & forth - I say give it some time, a break from each other (not from us!) for a minute and revisit the situation in a week or two - together! Talk - IN PRIVATE! And Liz, and none of us expect you or want you to lie to us - we are all here to SUPPORT one another! -

LESSON LEARNED: Way too hard to stick to the diet without my big ass jug of water! I didn't have it yesterday and so I kept reaching for almonds (sorry Tam I sorta went off program) Didn't over do it - an almond here, and almond there but up 2lbs from that in just one day - my body sucks! Jes - lemme know when and where and I'm there - seems like the only time I get out to walk is when you call so hit me up! Donna - don't really know why I'm so cranky but I can just assume it's lack of money - I'm officially poor! I got Suave shampoo & St Ives face wash - WOW! Heather - can you sneak me into your luggage - I don't even care if I get lost and wind up someplace other than Hawaii - just want ANY type of vacation LOL Tina - I'm thinking about cancelling my appt with Doc Fisher on the 15th - I'm up 1lb since I last saw him and I already know that I won't get a fill so It will be a waste of time. Pammie & Riley - I have seriously left 10 messages with the psych dept in Vallejo - NOT ONE CALL BACK! How the heck do I get into these emotional eating classes - my PCP just says to keep trying! GGGRRRRRRRRRRR! John - good to hear from you - glad you had a nice vacation - don't worry about the weight gain - perfectly acceptable on vacation as you don't get to go often. Now your back and now it's time for the 1200 cal diet again! I sure wish that dang diet worked for me! I LOVE MY CARBS!! PAT - CONGRATU -FRIGGIN-LATIONS! Now THAT'S how you start out a new year! Still cranky ladies & gent but workin on it :w00t: -
