Tamra - this reads as she thinks the band ISN"T the easy way out...?? Tamra - is your mom Italian? Riley - YOU GO GIRL - so glad you're having a good time and losing weight Lee - I don't have any interest in food - I could go all day and not eat a thing and not think twice about it BUT.... I know I have to eat something and once I start to eat my mouth doesn't want to stop. That's why I was saying that it's just easier NOT to eat at all. My mouth just loves the taste of food but my tummy is like STOP IT! hahaha. But today, at lunch, I left quite a bit of food on my plate and didn't stress off it like I normally would so maybe my mouth is gettin in line with the rest of me LOL Pammie - so lemme get this straight - 1 single man in the running, 16 single women and you are the one that he's kickin it with - See, you are a sexy beast~! don't worry about the food choices you are making right now, they aren't as bad as you think as you are keeping them in moderation and the holidays are only here for another week :smile2: I had a nice afternoon today with Nicolie - we had lunch and she looks awsome - I can really see the difference in her since the first day we met. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to go to a movie with somebody who just drank water too - no popcorn, no candy & no soda! I am craving some coffee right now - not hungry but a little cold and like to warm up from the inside out - Think I'll grab some peppermint tea -

woo hoo - go pat! Weight loss is always the best gift hahaha Tamra - girl, how did you ever gain weight LOL Lemme tell you the BEST hot dogs are the Hebrew Nationals - I get the big fat ones at walmart - they're like 5 bucks for 4 hot dogs but so worth it - 1 dog is a meal!! Riley Jane - how's that date going?? Nicolie - hope you feel better by tomorrow but if not - let me know - I understand the pain of a sinus infection!!!! Because of my allergies I use to get them alot but now I do the salt water rinse's in my nose and that keeps em away - it also helps get rid of them faster - you gotta snort worm sea salt water - not fun but worth it! I do it in the shower. My stepdaughter just came by and borrowed all my baking crap. Then asked me to come to her first dinner party in her first apartment as a grown up - so now I know the pastry chef is making nothing good for me :smile2: -

Lee, you only have 4.6lbs? You can do that by the January meeting - It took me about a month to lose my last 4lbs - It would've taken me longer if it wasn't for Jes - she got my butt up and out of the house walking. Let me know if you need a walking buddy! Tamra - I know that you don't like mayo but what about hard boiled eggs? I like to sometimes have two of those sliced in half long ways with a tad but of ranch dressing on them. I had some breakfast this morning - a scrambled egg with a few slices of left over sirloin from last night - was good but now, that Ive eaten, I don't want to stop! Like I've said - so much easier to just not start eating. -

"Luck" Riley - can't wait to hear the details! I understand about not losing any weight even though you haven't eaten anything - that's been happening to me! Tamra - when Bev called on the gal who drank the alcohol she said she was callling on her at that time because she had to leave early - so I don't think it was out of shame. I put a little alarm on my phone to go off the day before the meeting so I'll txt you when i get it. I really need to try to get back on my eating schedule. since I've only been eating like once a day I haven't lost anything - when I eat something small every 3-4 hours I lose fast. Problem with that is when I start to eat is when I have the problem because i don't want to stop. So much easier just not to start Oh, riley - I got some frozen edamame and i was wondering what the best way is to prepare them? I've never made them before - more like peas or beans??? Vegetarian rookie over here. -

Tina - how are you - I was just thinkiing about you as I'm about to climb in my bed with my cats LOL FYI - Pat, if you're one of the people that like to weigh in at the Richmond meetings, the next meeting is the last time Bev is bringing the scale and doing weigh ins. I'm going to try to make it a point to hit the next Richmond meeting so who's with me? I love the groups - actually - I love the "after" the groups with the girls  -

Hi Ladies, tamra & Jes - congrats on the weight loss - you too Riley Jane - and even if I was single i couldn't manage that many men one time - so not coordinated like that. ash - sleeve shmeeve - we love ya so stick around! I mighta done the sleeve if it was an option last September! Lee & bee soo glad I got to meet you ladies last night - I love having a face to go with the name - so much more personable. Capt Mo & Pat - I am bummed that I didn't get to meet you both - Monique - I would be home eating too if I wasn't at the meeting so get to the meetings! Pat - A hug trumps all! 30lbs is awsome! heather - glad you're having fun girl - can't wait to see the pics Analynn - You need to stay on the board and get to the meetings - it will definately help keep you motivated. Donna- Hi Honey! Pammie - where are you my love? Ok, my sometimers is kickin in - there was so much I wanted to say after reading 3 pages to catch up and now I can't remember any of it LOL. guess I'll have to start keeping notes. One thing I will say about the band is that it really makes an appearence when you are stressed out - I've had this sharp pain in the right side of my chest for about a week now - suddenly, today - it's gone HMMM? Here is my deal with this thing - I can't eat as much as I use to but I don't think it's the band because when I get full I feel it in the bottom of my stomech just like I use to before the band - but my tummy has definately shrunk. I did try to call again today to reschedule the appt I mised on tuesday and Bev said there are ZERO appts available and to call back in a few days. I was bummed because I really wanted to see what his scale says now - Im down to 186.8 but that will probably change tomorrow - up/down every day! Grrrrrr. I really have no desire to eat these days. I haven't been thinking about food at all - which is really a strange twist for me because it use to be ALL I thought about. So I've been making sure that I eat a decent lunch/dinner - I eat around 4:00 - the last 3 days I've only had 2 meals - coffee for b-fast & whatever is around at 4:00 hahaha - but I'm not losing any weight - I've been power walking on my treadmill - just can't get into my C25K for some reason. Maybe I need to get rid of the treadmill and get a tread climber - just one more thing to hang my laundry on (jk!) So, back to what i was saying - for about an hour after my 4:00 meal i can't stop thinking about food -life just seems to be so much easier if I don't eat anything at all - I've come to the conclusion that I'm a binger. Oh, Jes, (BTW - I really do love your hair cut!) you are right about the alcohol deal - Bev was directing that to the RNYers - their food processing isn't the same anymore and their bodies can't process the alcohol like it use to - we can still drink but they just worry about transferrence of addiction - from food to alcohol. So, Maria - have that drink if you so choose to - just try to keep it to a minimum and the lower cal drinks and enjoy. - Salute! -

Hey Ladies & John, Tamra - you're doing fine! Keep up the good work. Nicolie - so glad to see you on again Beatriz - don't worry about Doc Fisher - did you see your PCP two weeks post op? That's the one who will look at your incisions to be sure you're all good. It appears that Doc Fisher doesn't give fills until your 12 week appt. Really, the 6 week appt was a waste of time! Pammie - you're on a roll today. I have to get on my cookie baking. have to have something to give away this year LOL. My husband did the laundry  today I did clean my kitchen & bathroom - you know, the once a month big cleaning where you clean out the fridge & get on your hands & knees to clean the floors because the mop never really gets it all - that cleaning. Now I'm lounging in my bed with 3 of the 4 cats. I've been doing well with food up till today - B - salami & cream cheese L - chicken breast with aparagus D - almonds S - salami & cream cheese for some reason today I want to eat more than i have been in the last few days - I think it's this whole deposition thing - I'm looking for ways to take my mind off it and old habits die hard - food is always entertaining. Also, I do have to be at the lawers offices on tuesday too so - not sure yet why but... Anyway, it's not an option so i will have to reschedule my first fill appt - UGH & GRRRR!! So I guees that just gives me more time to lose weight. Hey, Tina - we're both about the same weight now and close enough to the same height - i was thinking that I could give you my life savings to go in my place and just say you're me - you can fill me in later to explain what "we" said hahahahahahahahahahaha How are you feeling? Riley - i do believe my bro is shorter than you - 5'6" - he's on eharmoney so ladies watch out - he's really not such a bad guy but he's not... Well the most forgiving person LOL -

Hey everybody - Pat - I think that is so cool - my daddy use to say that every chirstmas and, until today - I had no idea what it meant. so, did I read correctly, virginia is your grandmother - how exciting. I love my cats so Thanks! Tina - good to know - I hate this crud and I just found out that I have to be there Tuesday too so no fill for me. Gotta reschedule! so, evasive/vague is my new motto!! Riley - have fun tonight - I so wish my brother wasn't such a jerk because you two would get along so well. You are like two peas in a pod but he prefers whiskey LOL. He loves to take the kids to the races and camping and bike riding. He's too old for you too (46) hahaha. Glad you got your relief!! Jes - I love the rain! What I don't like is the chill factor - so cold! It usually warms up after the rain but not this time. Going to the city tonight to see a "spoken word" band. Hope it's fun cuz My husband and I can't really afford to get out much - hate to wast my 10 dollas on nothin -

Jes, sounds like the fill is working well for you - I hope I can get to my appointment too but if not I will have more time to lose more weight LOL. What overwhelms me the most is the "not knowing" part of things - I'm a ture taurus - I like routine and lazy grazing - simple life. When something arises out of knowhere I get uncomfortable. - That said.... This is the first time that I can recall that I'm completely stressed out and forget to eat hahahaha. The problem with that is if I don't eat on a schedule, my metabolism stops - not slows but completely stops LOL. Oh, well - it is what it is! -

Ash-congrats girl - you will weigh more at the support group as it is in the evening and you will be fully dressed - shoes and all so don't get discouraged! Thanks everybody for all my kitty love! I will pass it on to her  I have to give a deposition on Monday and I'm freaked out about it. I am not good under pressure and I will be interrogated by FOUR (4) sets of lawyers! I found out about this last week and have just been stressed out ever since - now that Monday is getting closer I am really feeling the nerves - Ah, but I don't want to eat LOL Anyway - it has messed with my concentration a little - Jes will tell you, when my concentration is off I'm no good to anybody I guess I'm so stressed because I don't know what they want with me hahaha Anyway, the following day, Tuesday, is some type of "mediation" but I don't know if I have to be there for that. If so, I will miss my appt with Doc Fisher - UGH - I want my fill  -
