Good afternoon all!! I was also banded on the 11th!! I was there at 5 AM and I was home at 7 PM. The worst part for me is the gas in my stomach. When it rumbles it hurts so bad. I called the nurse thinking it was actually my stomach growling but it was just gas LOL. She has me taking gas X thin strips and still sipping water every 15 minutes. I am still using the liquid lortab as long as I can LOL. Otherwise I feel great, I am walking the block 2-3 times a day and even went on a second interview today!! Hope everyone is doing great!!

Thank you all for posting. I am on post op day one and no where even close to eating anything yet but I was also under the impression I could not have salads and I am a salad person. Thanks for all the posts and advice.

Good morning to everyone!! I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that I was banded yesterday May 11th. It went great and I feel really good. I just went for a walk around the block and I am drinking my jigger every 15 minutes. Can't wait to really get all this gas off and be more proactive!! How is everyone else doing? Hope all is well!!

Kinzi- I was told by my doctor that there is no way I would lose too much weight in 3 months that the insurance would deny me for that reason.

Hi!! My name is Melissa. I am 32 and have been overweight my whole life. I am having gastric banding done on May 11 @ 7am!! I am so excited! I am currently on a liquid diet and I have lost 6 pounds in 2 days LOL!! My starting weight as of Tuesday was 237. I am so ready to get this done and be healthy and skinny!!
