:thumbup: Congrats on the 50 pounds. I had my surgery July 14th 2009. My highest weight was 275 and i'm now at 207. Keep up the good work. -

I was banded on July 14th. I have lost only 32 pounds since one week before surgery. I'm scared that I made the wrong choice and should have had gastric bypass. I eat right and excercise. I go for another fill on Sept 9th. Anyone have any suggestions.:blushing: -

I'm not regrettin the weight lost, just thinking it should we going faster. I'm at a stand still and have been for 2 weeks. -
Hey Allena, my name is Allison. In reading your profile it seems that we have a lot in cmmon. I too am 31, I have a son that is 9. I know the feeling about the whole yo-yo thing. I was banded on July 14th. Since a week before surgery i have lost 27 pounds. Good luck in the rest of your journey. Hope to keep in touch and to see your progress.

Just wondering how your fill went. I had mine yesterday. Was suppose to be at 1200 and it ended up the dr made it at 3. So I had went all day until lastnight before I was able to eat and by then I was throwing up. It was bad. So what is your total loss?

So I posted on this the other day and i've now been to the doctor. He said that the easy mac I ate was stuck and that it would digest in 24 to 48 hours. He said that I was real swollen and irratated and in my esophagus area. He also told me to never eat pasta fixed in the microwave. That was a big no no. So i'm feeling better today and will be back to normal in a couple of days.:thumbup: -

Hey there! I was banded on July 14th. Had a few complication so was in the hospital for a few days! The thought of broth just made me gag for I was living off sugar free popsicles. My dietician said in days 7 and 8 I could start with mashed potatos and mac and cheese as long as in was finely chopped up. Well I have an appointment with my doctor at 10am in the morning because I feel like i have something stuck in my throat. Should have waited to start those foods.:thumbup: -
Hey there! Thanks for checking on me. Not all went as planned didn't get out of hospital til thursday night. After surgery the anestesia ceased the function of my bladder and it tore, OUCH! Not fun. My pain is really severe in my stomach not sure why so bad. Don't feel like eating at all. But on the upside ive lost 8 pounds since ive been home. Hope your fill wasn't to painful.
