    B- Protein Drink L- Chili D - eggs and toast S- cheese it snack mix! BAD but So good!!! LOL Vita - taking it at night with other meds now Water - No good Exercise - no good

    Running with a little walking here and there!!! I do this at least 3 days a week and the other days do the elliptical or bike!

    I've been on the go since 645 this morning! So I did stop for lunch out B - Protein shake (full 60g of protein!) L - A few bites of a filet o fish and a few bites of fries D - Some sort of fish (not sure yet cuz I'm still SO STUFFED from lunch) S - Non-fat Latte! Oops! LOL V - Am going to start take "normal" ones again and I will take at night with other meds W - Not so good today E - Great! Did 5K at the gym again and ran for the first 20 mins!!!

    Nope, no sneezing issues here! LOL I too had a good weigh in this week! I'm down to 185.6 which means .6 away from just being Overweight instead of obese!! B - Protein shake L - 2 eggs and 1 piece of toast D - Roast and carrots S - nana bread Vita - in my shake Water - Not good, been drinking a big ole cup of tea today though (it's half decaff tea/half water) Exercise - didn't get to the gym today because I had to finish packing and loading my car as I'm moving tomorrow!!

    Is that where your side hurts? If so, I just had this happen to me the other day for the first time! I slowed to a walk and drank a little water and by the time I was running again it was gone! Good Luck!

    Food Funeral Thread

    I can't do it because I don't believe in not allowing myself anything! If I say I can't have I only want it more! I CHOOSE to not eat some things but I still have treats! One of my favorite is peanut butter cups and I had some today (the Adkins brand). If I want chocolate, I have some chocolate or whatever it is I want! I do crave pasta here and again but I haven't allowed myself to have it YET but I know someday I will! I got the sleeve knowing that I would still be able to eat anything but in moderation now!

    I'm So Excited!!

    My goal by the end of the year is to Pass (just a passing score of 60) the APFT (hubby is retired Army). I would have to do 15 pushup (which I can't do one! LOL) in 2 mins, 42 situps in 2 mins and a two mile run in 21 mins!!

    I am so worried about this! I start work again in just over a week and I don't want to fall back into old habits of snacking all day of Crap! LOL I have planned to take some carrots and other veggies with me and LOTS of water so hopefully I won't fall back into it!

    I usually don't go all day with just the protein shake but I was out and about all day today! My shake is anywhere from 40-60g of just Protein Powder with a cup of 1% milk. Somedays I also add a Tbsp of Peanut butter! Todays shake was 40g of protein! I do not experience any hunger (I'm just over 15 weeks out) but I do have Head Hunger and also empty hands which makes for snacking at night The Protein Shakes used to REALLY fill me up and not so much anymore so I usually have something for lunch!

  16. Tiff that is too funny cuz I was actually in the back of mind wondering if I should do liquids for a few days! LOL I have to remind myself that this journey is A LOT like every other weight loss journey I've been on and it will take some adjustments and TIME! It's just hard somedays when you look at it and I've lost SO MUCH weight in such a short amount of time I just hoped it would contiune to come off at the same rate but I should know that it will slow down eventually!

    B - Protein shake L - Finished Shake and had 4 twizzlers at a movie D - Pork Tenderloin and veggie (left over while DH & DD have pasta) S - ??? Vita - In shake Water - 50oz in Exercise - 36:50 min 5K!!!!
  18. Mine is a little different since I'm at a small Army post so everything was done very quickly! The first appt. with the surgeon to the surgery date was 1 month and two weeks!

    I LOVE pizza but I don't like sause a lot and I'm trying to stay away from a lot of carbs so I just take turkey pepperoni and lay it out on a baking sheet (I cover it with foil to help with clean up!) and put a little bit of cheese on top of each and put them under the broiler for a few mins until the cheese is melted! It's all the stuff I love about pizza without all the other crap! LOL

    Snacking?

    One of my few good weightloss attempts before surgery was with Weight Watchers and I did the whole no eating after 8pm so I do think I need to go back to something like this! I hate telling myself I CAN'T do something because that just makes me want to do it more! LOL I like the idea of being able to have milk at night though instead of just water cuz I have a tiny bladder so all that water at night makes for many wake ups! LOL

  22. I also suggest a protein supplement! It will help you get more protein in and also more calories! I make a protein drink in the mornings with 69g of protein and 390 calories! In the early days I was using 40g of protein powder, 9g from a cup of milk and that was lunch and dinner!
  23. I have to say that fruit juice is NO WHERE near as bad as a Coke! If we go out to eat at times my daughter (6 years old) will sometimes have a apple juice or lemonade but usually it's milk. We chose where to eat on what we know they have that will work for all of us. I have always been a super picky eater so it's been hard to find places that I would eat and that also had a good menu for my daughter. We switch it from a burger to chicken for her and she will get fruit or veggies with it, which she prefers! I have learned since having surgery that I don't usually want to order from the children's menu so my daughter and I split something from the regular menu. My daughter has always LOVED fruit (I hate all fruit!) and she has never been a volume eater. She does like to snack so we talk a lot about what Snacks are good and how it is okay to have a "treat" at times but it's all about how much and how often you eat it. Her father and I are both large people (well I'm becoming not so large anymore!!hehe) so I have ALWAYS worried about her but I have taught her from day one about good/bad foods. I didn't have this education growing up and we lived off of McDonalds and Soda!

  25. Well I knew that it would happen someday but I didn't think it would happen this quickly. I gained weight this week (1 lb) It’s a real sucky feeling but I have no one to blame but myself! For the 4 days this past week I didn't get in enough Protein and I know a big key to my weight loss is getting in 60+g of protein EVERYDAY. I also took in a lot more carbs then I usually do and I didn't make it to the gym in two weeks now. I was sick one week and then the next I just didn't go because I would have only been able to go one day since the rest we were out of town. So like I said, My Fault all the way! I KNOW what I need to be doing now I must just do it! For whatever reason it seems that now I can "see" myself and my excuses better than I used to! I guess before surgery I chose to not see and now I chose to see. By making excuses I am just hurting myself and I don't want to do that! I WANT to be healthy and lose all my weight, I WANT to feel good in my own skin and I WANT to be physically fit! I can only do those things if I Choose to eat the right things and I go to the gym! Today is a new day and I'm going to Choose the right way!
