Hello Everyone! I've been on the sidelines reading this forum for a few weeks now but didn't want to participate until I had my insurance approval. I got the good news yesterday and it's finally begining to set in. I'm so nervous and excited. I have battled with my weight for most of my life and I am finally in a position to win this battle. Thank you to all who have posted your stories and inspired and motivated me to get this done. I hope one day my story will be able to inspire someone to take the steps to winning the fight of their life!!!

Hi Vikki, I just read your post and have an appt. at lawrence today with Dori (I see you're meeting your surgeon today but not sure where) My surgery is at lawrence on 5/14. I wish you the best of luck! I see you're from the Bronx and I'm in Yonkers...if you want we can keep in touch.:biggrin:
