'Obesity Help', and 'Thinner Times' are two other great sites that would give you more info. on the RNY and other procedures if you're trying to get all the pros/cons before deciding (TT is mostly RNY- very helpful group there, and OH has sections for each type of surgery as well as lots of archives on procedures, docs, hospitals, etc.).
