Hey there, I am just now seeing this message! I am doing very well. I had a couple of weeks of acid reflux at night, luckilly it went away. I was very concerned that it wouldn't go away. Also, I had this constant hunger feeling, which I read was probably over production of acid, but as a result I developed this habit of eating every hour. Now granted I couldn't eat much, so I continued to loose weight. I do have to watch myself now and make sure that I don't snack between meals. I could see this as a major problem if not kept under control. Also, I went through this phase of thinking, what have I done? I miss my best friend--Food!! I also miss chugging water when I am thirsty. But I know when I get to my goal weight, it will all be worth it. I have lost 26 lbs so far and I am very pleased. How is Kathy doing? How are you doing?

How are you doing? Just thought we would check in with you. Kathy was wondering how you were doing?

I took some Gas X but it didn't seem to work but who knows if it would have been worse. It took me a long time to (pardon the expression) "fart". Whe I finally started the doctor actually high-fived me. That is the best release. Works better than burping. It was uncomfortable but not horrible. I wasn't even tempted to ask for pain meds for it. You'll be fine.

Well, could't figure out how to reply to your last post, so I thought I send you a message.
I am so glad the surgery went well for you! It is so exciting! I have a couple of questions.. did you stay a total of 4 nights? And, did you take any gas x with you for the gas pain? Just curious if you took it and it didn't work. I HATE gas pains!!! Also, have you been nauseated any?
Thanks for your time!
I am hoping to schedule surgery with Dr Aceves sometime in June!
